I just picked up one of these new old stock from a dealer and it's a surprising little gun I'd never heard of. Kind of a precursor to the P238 I have as an EDC. Definitely looking forward to giving it a whirl, thanks for the vid!
Sig makes such nice stuff as love it...Good vid as I like the way you exaggerated the easy trigger pull as that has to be smoothe to be able to hold it like that and let it ride...

S&W has an awesome trigger that you can stage. The recoil here was exaggerated. Dont judge those revolvers by this video. Never leave a mag in your gun while breaking it down. If your new to guns and your watching this remember, drop and rack. That's it. Your can rack it as many times as you want but drop out the mag and rack the slide. Even if you know it's empty this will prevent accidents from happening. I know two people that they happened to. One was not new to guns. Shot his hand. Stupid mistake when he got a phone call and came back and didn't drop and rack it. Kinda like always pointing it in a safe direction. Even if you know it's unloaded. Better to be safe.

I picked one up on Sale for 199.99 thinking it would make for a cheap to shoot DA Training gun. The trigger is truly wonderful, very smooth without any hitches or stacking. Just like my custom tuned S&W revolvers. If you reload the 380 is probably the least expensive caliber to reload, bullets are cheap in bulk and powder charges are quite light. The only issue from reloading standpoint is that you do have to shoot the hyper expensive factory stuff to build up a stock of cases to work with.
However there is a GIANT BIG FAT ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM. That is that my sample has the weakest ejection I have ever seen from a semi auto. Even with ammunition that is loaded with the powder nearly all the way to the top of the case so that you have to compress the powder charge to seat the bullet. At my estimate about a 30% overcharge. So how weak is the ejection, I have never had one single magazine fire every single round without jamming at some point. On average is between 2 and 3 jams per magazine and that does include the 6 round magazines. Basically the ONLY way to get reliable function with this pistol is to take it in your left hand and shoot gangsta style with the ejection port aimed straight down.
A bud of mine has a 290rs in 9mm. The dao was like a revolver to me--long and heavy with a long reset. I am a fan of dao on H&Ks though (lem).
Sig uses plastic guide rods. Absolute proof that buying that aftermarket steel guide rod is a waste of money.

I dont think the .380 verson of this gun makes much sense when 9mm is availiable, i have the 9mm version and like it alot
What is the trigger pull on that gun?
Does anyone know whether racking the slide "pre cocks" or "pre tensions" the trigger?
