Back then pop music was beautiful!!!! The music and the pop stars!!!!! True magic back then man!! It's all gone now unfortunately music and artists no longer look or sound like this. Just such a shame. Great era to be alive. Miss it.

Ive been a secret fan ever since... Even bought the bros hair wax and everything 😅. I was a hit with girls for about 6 months. Then me mate with the curtains took over as Jason Donovan got more popular... Doh!!
I was at school with Matt & Luke at Collingwood School in Camberley i only went there for 3 months also they came on holiday with my family to Whitley Bay when we were teenagers......

And a year later he died from a heart attack (1989), a day before I was due to start an army course. So I didn't have to stand up to his requirements. And that was in a sense comfortable. Little did I know that life is not black and white. And today I know he would have accepted my mental illness, my vulnerabilty and even my sexual orientation. Maybe not immediately, but he would have.

It didn’t help that Matt had a pretty thin vocal range and all their songs on the first album were written by their manager and producer. With Wham!, George Michael wrote and produced the songs himself from the start.
