There are a lot of people slamming them for not writing their own songs. The article I read was that the guy who wrote this song couldn't find the singer with the right voice to sing this song properly. They came across a band called Gloss, changed their name to Bros, they were the right band in the right place at the right time and, boy, they nailed it. This song gives me goose bumps every time. The members of Bros have all gone on to have successful careers. So as to whether they wrote songs or didn't write songs, who cares, they are talented.

It’s not like the Goss twins didn’t write their own songs with the subsequent Bros albums. They needed a start and both Nicky Graham and Tom Watkins gave them a fantastic start.
Nothing wrong with songwriters and singers coming together. They help each other. it's the media spin of "we write all our own songs" which helps to give young people belief that it's not "just a manufactured boy band or just a manufactured girl band that I like, these are real musicians and songwriters". They're credible. When you're older and confident you don't give a monkeys about who wrote it, played on it, sang it - if I like it, I like it, and I'll play it loud :-)

1987. 17 years later, in 2004, I discovered them when I was 17. I had also just purchased Matt Goss’s new album, Early Side of Later, as well as his autobiography, and went to his book signing. I was also lucky to grew up in the 80's. The golden age of music .. I would happy to do it all over again I'ff I could. And not only music. The time was way the best ever.
I loved growing up in the 80s. I was so obsessed with Bros and Matt Goss in particular, when I was 14 or 15. Have had a soft spot for blond men ever since!
No words for this nostalgic songs. In 2021 I still listen this amazing success track. Thank you so much #bros. In Portugal I dancing so much this song in the disco. 🇵🇹🔝🙏
You know, this is a really catchy smooth song......and the beginning and ending are really epic.

Well said!
superbatfirenze Not really, a black woman is singing in the back. Typical. No wonder people think he sounded like a woman.
Bullshit. She sang all the ad libs and did all the runs. she was the background singer lol. I'm sure he can sing, but on this track his voice was rather weak. I'm amazed at the amount of people that cant tell he's lipsyncing to a black woman.
1987.
17 years later, in 2004, I discovered them when I was 17. I had also just purchased Matt Goss’s new album, Early Side of Later, as well as his autobiography, and went to his book signing. I still have a photo of us taken by his assistant on my Samsung D500.
17 years later, 2021, was last year…
Will this video and comment be here in 2038.
Still have the Push LP, the cassette and the VHS live concert as proof I lived through Brosmania to the fullest. Unless you were right up there with me you shall never understand. Still drive a car with a fully functional cassette player in 2024 just because. We were the lucky ones imho.
