I'm 53 I'll be 54 December 12th I live through it but what I remember most about their concert it was toward the end was how sad maybe frenetic is the right word like he loved us and hated tricking us put the song was like a lollipop that we've had all fucking day so we didn't quit and ask questions. This is all because a greedy producer who found his own way to making hits. After watching the documentary they could sing if they really had the chance and spent time making a record. That German producer was just so full of himself.

I worked for a Pop radio morning show and an artist from Europe told us that they were a “fake” group. We didn’t let it out. Then a few weeks later it came out.
So we jumped on the “I hate Milli Vanilli” bandwagon. I went out in the station van and said, using the best technology of the time, a cell phone in a big bag, I would trade a hot artist CD for your Milli Vanilli CD.
I collected about 50 CDs that morning and ran them over with the station van.
But I kept a few CDs for myself and still have them. I never blamed Rob and Fab, I blamed the damn record label! No way two models perpetuated a fraud like that.

@@Mintaka.No I don’t. Everybody was on the “I hate Milli Vanilli” thing. Personally I wasn’t but for my job, that paid my rent I did the silly little anti Rob and Fab stuff.
My morning guy and I disagreed on what to do but he was the boss and I had to do it. The voice of one morning radio “stunt boy” was not going to change the silly opinion of a nation.
So no I feel no shame. The shame belongs to Frank Farion and CBS records who blamed the two models THEY HIRED to be Milli Vanilli.
Edit: I just never understood just how people believed that two guys who didn’t speak good English were the real band.
