As someone that love creating games mechanics, especially for combat I absolutely love your emulation of the combat system of the souls game, great work that is really clever ! I'm excited to try this :)
Hi, just new to the game and I am bit confused, was the "+1 harm when in the same space" rule been removed from the final version of the game? I would expect to find it in the explanation of step 5 of combat but...

While I was watching this it was messing with me that the player was on the top and I was wondering why? Then I thought, most retro video games have trained me that players are at the bottom of the screen to start.

I really like the 4x4 grid! One problem I've had with solo Skirmish Games is how much space they take up.

That rule was not included in the final version of the game

It's totally arbitrary. You can start on the bottom if you want!
