@Rye Games, I have a question when the last of us part one and part 2 come out on pc where you can play it and showcase it on pc can you do a series on the last of us i know you like survival games so i thought i would ask, but can you respond to me about your plans and stuff abou next videos... I really think that would be a good video or maybe a series.? What are your thoughts?.
Unless I’m wrong the reason you kept getting one shot is due to being on low health
Hard mode is hell you get 2 shot without armor.

This game is great, its huge and the price is pretty good in my opinion
less than 30 bucks is too much? For you maybe, be glad it's not 40 or 60 bucks, It easily could've been that way.

the game rn is still in early acces and the devs said that it will take them another 2 yers to be 100% finished. But for a early acces game the makanics and the playing is amaizing. Btw: got the game as well and it is way better to play whit a friend my oppinion is that you turn this in a multiplayer searies

@@Cancer6667 for 7 years of waiting it is kinda disapointing. Regarding the fact that there are some mega stupid bugs that can be fixt in 30 min. But still story line was great and Graphics are great for just 20GB need to store the game
@@soysauce4087 it acctualy blows my mind to see that after the first the forest are still a small game company. But whit the sons of the forest they will get somewhere. Like already in the first 2 days of the game beaing open to the public they got back half of the money they invested in making the game and as I sad its still in early acces.
Out of all the times I started a new game to see what locations I get. I keep getting the same spot. Idk if it's because I change a few of the settings to make the days and seasons last longer or if it's just a bug. But so far I'm loving this game

Can I give you an Idea of how great I think your channel Is? At this point I haven't owned a console or a pc In roughly 3 years. I've never played a survivalist game but always loved the concept of them as I'm an avid hunter, fisher and survivalist In real life. I recently discovered your channel only a couple hours ago and dude you are freaking hilarious! I laughed so hard when the npc that was supposed to be helping you was the one that destroyed your tree house and was In the process of cutting down the tree you was fixing to use. Top tier content bro! Watching these videos has made me want to hop In my truck and go buy another console just to try them out for myself.

You never used meds at the start of the game so you always had low health from the helicopter crash

nah you don't gotta do anything with him, you can just tell him to do things, if he's getting wood for you or whatever he has to sit down and take a break every now and then but its automatic
pretty sure he eats and drinks when you eat and drink. youll see him drinking from the water pool you drink from when you go to drink water and hes following you. there is no stat system for him though. im pretty sure they will give him meters that we need to keep full at some pooint but who knows.
The tree house broke because you were swinging your spear too close to the blueprint. Eseentially, you broke the blueprint

Love your videos rye! I know they said eventually sons of the forest will come out for console but I hope it doesn’t take FOREVER! I enjoyed the first game but I always felt like it needed a dumbass guy named kelvin to really make it perfect.

*!!ATTENTION SURVIVAL GAME ENTHUSIASTS!!*
1. This is not a survival game via basic human needs. Hunger, thirst and sleep don't matter, and neither do the seasons. It doesn't matter if you get wet. It doesn't matter if you get cold or freeze. It doesn't matter if you're starving to death, or dehydrated, or anything else. You would expect that one would need winter gear, or to prepare for winter in order to survive it when it came. But sadly, no. When winter arrived (I spawned during winter in my friends' MP session), I ran around as a fresh character with absolutely nothing to begin with. No special winter gear, no food items, etc. It didn't matter at all. My core needs (hunger, thirst and sleep) remained at 0 for about 3-5 in-game days, and it only affected my stamina level. If needs don't matter, then this is more of a "go to caves shown on GPS > kill cannibals > loot cave > go to next cave until game is beat" game with some illusory survival needs thrown in.
2. No need to purify your water at all. Cannibals dying in your local pond? Cannibals pooping into your favourite stream from above? Doesn't matter, drink up, bud. No need to worry about it, drink up. You don't need to boil water. Some people may like it, but that's another survival element gutted when it didn't need to be. This game seems to revolve around combat a lot more, and survival a LOT less.
3. There is no log sled now for some reason. Have fun carrying those logs, or getting the AI to play the game for you instead (Kelvin).
4. There is no real crafting as far as animal hides are concerned. If you thought each animal would give you its own unique hide with which you could craft unique and cool items that might help when winter comes around, you would be sadly mistaken. You can craft a hide armour set, but there aren't any cool craftables such as quivers, bed-rolls, rabbitskin boots/gloves, hide pouches, etc. Hunting feels pointless as it ONLY gives you meat. Furthermore, you can't harvest birds for meat(?), which is very strange, but you can still get feathers from them easily enough. They continue to all fly to the exact same spot you killed the previous 15,980 bluebirds a minute before, which is also strange.
5. Everything you need to do objective-wise + POI's are already on the GPS-map which negates the fun or need of/for exploration.
This is *NOT* a survival game, and I WOULD NOT recommend it in its current state. I doubt it will change, but here's hoping it might be worth playing in a few months or years. It's certainly a prettier version of The Forest 1, but it's just barren here. The potential for beautiful base locations are there, but there is no reason to even build them. That's just sad. And without the survival elements to take care of, you have absolutely nothing else to do beside run around or venture into the caves. And if you DID build a base, you wouldn't need it. And if you DID take care of your needs, it wouldn't matter anyway, as there would be no real reason to (outside of trying to keep on top of stamina for combat and running around).
I loved the first game, but sons is not very good at the moment, the optimization is terrible (I have a 3080 and still bad fps), the main story just feels like a running simulator to collect the keycards just to experience 3 cutscenes (4+a years of development lol), the AI is bugged as fuck, clipping through walls, randomly attacking then running away (nothing like how they bragged in the reveal), caves are cool but then you realise the only point going through them is to get creepy armour and the loot at the end of it, the story is executed terribly the lore idea is cool but seriously end night, even tho it's early access the game is mostly done. The graphics are good but when you get terrible performance because of it its just a bad trade-off. The building while unique, bugs the fuck out at times and just doesn't want to work especially with things like roofs

the forest 2 with nothing new really, experience was ok ig, but the game is overall very rushed, shoulda stayed out of the market, unless they needed the money so they ruined peoples playthroughes with this mess..
