- This survival playthrough was cursed, full of bugs, a lot fun, and very little progression. Sounds like the usual Rye Games video. I've been asked to play stranded deep for a while now, and I thought it was finally time to take it on, and honestly I think an episode 2 is due!

crafting the first raft in this game is extremely satisfying.

The rocks are there to absorb heat & it radiates the heat further then if you didn't have them there. You can also put the rocks around you when you go to sleep to keep you warm at night.
you can carve a face in a rock too, to keep your heart warm :)

Love this game, it can be pretty comical. Also, fibrous leaves do respawn every couple in game days. Water still and smoker are vital early - smoked meat doesn't spoil while cooked and raw meat does :)

Survival games: Craft Axe to chop massive trees by simply pinching a rock between two sticks with some leaf string.

I just found your channel today, but I’m in love with your videos.
i played this game to insanity. in the beginning, item management was pure masochism. there are bugs, physics are junky af at times, and endgame is meh. still one of my favorite survival games. hell im gonna re-install it right now

The fire pit lets you build a meat smoker so you can smoke 5 pieces of meat and they won't spoil.
This video inspired me to post a video of the mansion I built. Don't give up, it takes time to get established

Ah yes stranded deep had this game during alpha and also you need to farm fiber for making more water and at the same time be sure not to eat the potatoes you need it for making fuel too :)
I remember earlier we can use the helicopter and the motorboat without fuel too,dont remember correctly but i think we do can
@@nguyenhoangngoc4761 you don't even need a raft or lifeboat to travel islands back in early stage of this game you can use the palm tree to fly island to island same goes to liferaft you can speed it up by doing an exploit which they fix it
honestly i love this game but it is very much cursed.
its shovelware but at the same time it isnt. its in a gray area. its good. and i think thats all you need to know.
Wild animals do indeed respawn, I think every 20 minutes if I'm remembering correctly

Rocks absorb and radiate heat. Rocks can block wind, if they are big enough, you can also prop cooking tools with them. Sticks with fish and pork skewered on em. You can also dry wet clothing on hot rocks as well. 😁

You have so many shipwrecks arround. On one there are actually buoys which make a perfect raft base. And for the next attempt: Your life-raft has an anchor. YOu can even anchor it in the water. You should probably use it next time ;) Rafts will disappear from your island if not high enough on the beach or not anchored. Also the currents differ, depending on whcih side of the island you are.
Fibrous leaves will respawn on the trees and on the beach. I'm not sure if its one or three days.
Answers to two of your questions: The rocks around the fire make it reusable, without them it dissapears once the wood is burnt, and to get more fibrous, chop down palms, then chop the palm leaves.

Try doing your research about MetaIsland folks. It's also a survival game and part of the gameplay is that survivors are encourage to participate in shooting fireworks, fighting monsters and etc to keep the island alive or you'll lose your weapons and assets.

I spent about 4 hours with this game because it was free on PlayStation Plus.....I didn't know until I watched your view...that I could take the raft and cruise on over to other islands!?! WTF? lol

There was this one time that I was thinking about making pasta all day. Literally, from the moment I clocked in at work to the drive home, pasta was all that encompassed my thoughts.
After I did my 8 hours and earned my freedom, I hopped in the car, and stopped at the store on my way home. The shopping list was small, a box of noodles, a jar of pasta sauce, some beef and some parmesan.
To my dismay, the store did not have any pasta sauce on the shelf. They did have alfredo, but my heart yearned for that rustic tomato-y marinara. I asked the employees if they had any on a pallet in the back waiting to be stocked. they told me they ran out because a new employee had actually dropped the jars in an ungodly display of poor motor skills and what can only be medically described as two-leftfoot-itus.
I felt my night was ruined, I could feel myself going through the stages of grief. Yet, in my horror, a big brain gamer move occured to me. I could make my own pasta sauce!
I scrambled about the aisles of the store, collecting the materials, preparing to make a holy grail of a dish.
I got home, pot on the stove, and started to bring the water to a boil. I was ready for the makeshift sauce of a life time, and i could hear the angels singing as i ripped open the red kool aid packet. As further affirmation that I was on a holy quest, rays of sunlight shone down upon my cooking pot, (i've told my landlord about this problem many times, but the cheap SOB wont get it fixed)
After the kool aid mix, i added some sugar and tang, to get the flavor just right. Then I turned off the heat and added my noodles.
While I cooked the meats, I watched as before my eyes the noodles absorbed the sauce and turned a lovely shade of red. when it was finally time, I added the meat, parmesan cheese, and some maple syrup to top it all off. My meal was a success, and I couldn't wait for what tomorrow would bring.
You see kids the moral of the story is adaptability, and MLG pro gamer moves. You might ask your self how any of this was relevant to the video, and in short, it wasn't. Thanks for joining me on my adventure.

I own this game when it first came out and it was really buggy but few years later i played it all the way through fine a plain and fix it to fly home, but it ends crashing on another island and the how the dam game ends but one thing i posted is i hate the crafting and how it works and did never play it again SO WHATEVER!

Games fun to play but playing multiplayer sucks it dsync to the point where you can't even see what the player is building or can't even see the player at all.
By the way this is a good game that is other than the crafting and knowing this they were told many years to just change a few things but not, so it is a bit thumb down for me.
