Nice job! Not over the top; just practical. The body doesn't have any dings or dents. The A/C is great and arm rests on the front seats is nice. I'm guessing it's a stock 6.2 liter.
Sweet. Any idea a paint code and where you got it? I’m in the middle of RINO lining and painting my Humvee. I was torn between gray and green. This is the best of both worlds. Thanks again.
@@umtduckhead These are the numbers I could still read on the can unfortunately, if it doesn't work just buy one of the helo drab little jars of paint for models and take that in to a paint shop and they can scan and replicate it for you, that's how I got napa to make the paint for me. 53- 5774661 ID: 5774661v5
How the foam board you installed on the roof?. I was thinking of doing the same thing to my m1123 but was worried about how hard it would be to clean if it got dirty.
It actually worked pretty good for noise and insulation, I just bought acustic panels from Amazon and used headliner spray adhesive to stick them up. Never got dirty, headliners that are black and textured seem to be hard to mess up
Jim all of your builds are outstanding! Appreciate the attention to detail. What wheel and tire combo do you like to use ? What is the offset they look perfect. Thank you from sunny Florida. I enjoy the videos
Thanks! This truck had h1 factory wheels, so stock offset, tires are 37s. I think with the 3" body lift it looks great, but I'm planning on running a little bigger tires on my next build 👍
Very impressive my man. I noticed you had some sound absorbing foam as a headliner. I need to do the same thing for mine - do you feel like it has helped at all? Where did you get it and how did you attach it?
I used acustic foam from Amazon, sprayed it with headliner adhesive, it helped a little, biggest help was that dog house add on i did, the more you can insulate between yourself and the engine the better for noise reduction
@@tduncan9938 Standard military x doors are all fiberglass, I guess the armored ones would be steel but those seem harder to get your hands on as all humvees get de-militarized before going to auction. On my next humvee that I'm about to start I'll probably go aftermarket doors as these military ones are rare and aftermarket are nicer!
Ben: I noticed the Florida Lic Plates... I live in Florida & was told no Military Hummer are allowed Legal Street access. Only Off-Road & Parad access. Is yours only Off-Road access driving???
It had a normal and completely legal plate, there are many in Florida with them, dmvs are getting harder though here so some people just don't want to mess with it and go with dirt legal to get legal plates.

Love the industrial size blower and vents for the HVAC system!!!
Instrumentation with pure analog gauges is top notch!!!👍👍👍
Nice. Had a 1114 I ran through Baghdad for a year. Oh that sound. Just love these machines.
Thank you for your service! I love these things too!
Great looking truck. Lots of nice additions. I like the sound foam on the ceiling and the larger rear window.
Wow... amazing build! Would love all the details
I am planning to post another video of all the modifications I did under the hood. What details in particular were you interested in?

And you also like humvees?! Maybe we are twins!

It's called "helo drab" it's the army helicopter paint color

Nice what did you use for the interior insulation, you have a grey material and black. I need something like that gray one to stick and insulate
I bought these acoustic foam tiles from Amazon for the headliner, the floor and sides has adhesive neoprene sheets applied all around

The rear steel curtain with the large window. Did you build it? Or can you share where you purchased it from?
