Logan Graham its mainly for driving comfort. Driving my hmmwv with the 2 piece beadlock wheels and run flats still in, I can understand the replacement of the wheels. Once your up to about 40 mph, the whole truck shakes and it doesn't smooth out until you're above 50. Those wheels don't balance out well. If you use the hmmwv as a daily driver, you'll find that the wheels need to be changed. If you mainly use it for off road, the original wheels are great.
I love what you did to this thing! It's Bad Ass. It would be a daily driver for me, the rich dude you built it for will most likely park it in a garage and it'll never see dirt or sunshine ever again, just something to brag about.

And it seems that customer wanted the basics done so that the vehicle will last until he decides to put a bigger better motor in it but so it can still be used till then. So great job guys. Hope to see more videos. And for those saying the motor isn't powerful enough yes you are right but it's not about the power it comes down to gearing and the portal hubs turns the power to 2:1 so 200ftlb of torque is turned into 400 at the wheel and a simple transfer case gear reduction would make it so much better without a new motor. So for a baller on a budget it's a badass build that I'd love to own. The only thing I'd like to change without killing the budget is the radiator cause when that fan on that one kicks on it sounds like a jet engine inside so I guess some sound deading inside would help as well. But for just off-road use it wouldn't matter. Geat video

Is that a full fording kit? Or just a snorkel? Are all of the electronics inside waterproofed or water resistant? For example The vents on the side of the amp don't look right. Just curious thank you

If I had the money I would do carbon fiber and black brushed anodized aluminum interior.. and a full glass display with a Tesla like control panel with 360 degree view.. Gps..etc.

My 1986 HMMWV is noisy and loud inside, did you add any additional sound proofing material in this build? Air Intake Snorkel but no fording exhaust pipe. Which make model of that light bar did you use there.

Beautiful except the wheels . Should of left stock ones. They are worth more than China made fuel rims. Stronger and original . Try and replace the original and you will see what I am saying . They cost 4 times what those cheesey fuel rims cost.

The only time when a HMMWV is worth anything is when you rebuild the whole truck, I'm actually impressed and liking this build a lot. When having to deal with these four wheeled driving shit boxes on a daily basis, it's nice to see one that I'd actually wouldn't mind owning. Although, me personally I'd swap out the shitty, fuel guzzling engine for a 5.9 Cummins and a six speed manual. And to those saying these rims are Mall Crawler rims, you obviously never been to a SEMA truck meet haha.

A Cadillac valve, that's a new one.
Bolts can either be stainless or grade 8, but not both...
The wheels are awesome
Had any problems with the stainless and the aluminum, stainless tends to break when paired with aluminum

when under water itll hold onto oxygen , but not long so i recomend a closed circut oxygen system
