The title of this video made me drink calming tea before I watched. 😂 God took care of you, those drivers and equipment. He's good like that. My Daddy was a pastor for over 50 years. All my life I've lived with ministers. We expect them to be perfect all the time. They are not. Because their children drive them crazy at times. Not me, I was perfect. 😂 Churches will run a pastor and his family to death. Not only does he need prayers, he needs grace. He is not perfect, he is only human. My Daddy lives what he preached. He is 88 now can't hear , see or remember half the time. But he will tell you in a heartbeat how good God still is! Thank you for sharing Jesus! I believe we are all called to witness.
Hey Roxy I think I need a cup of the calming tea as well! That’s awesome to hear that your Dad preached for 50 years! God Bless him for all those years serving the Lord! Thanks and God Bless
Thats certainly a STEEP driveway... but the ol' 259 got 'er knocked out! Amen to the message... pastors are so awesome when they are righteous and obey God's calling and we definately need to show appreciation and give them encouragement.... but honestly watching this channel is what caused my faith to grow stronger and to look for messages from pastors... so thank you! Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!👍🙏🏽
Ricky that was definitely a steep one for sure! Amen to encouraging and supporting our pastors. I appreciate what you said about the message and what it means to you. It’s cool to know the Lord is using the message to help folks… God Bless
That would have been a scary moment. Thank goodness it wasn't as bad as it could have been. The good Lord was looking over you and the person in the jeep. Great message as always.
As my Dad use to say, “ Keep on living, it’s always something else that will occur” I know that tire situation was very frustrating and could have turned out tragic BUT did not-Thank the LORD! Thank you once again for the video. Be BLESSED and not STRESED!
Hey Sam, I finally got to sit down and watch your video. Man that road was steep and the pigs were funny too. I'm just glad no one got hurt from the tire coming off wow. Thanks for sharing and the Message. Happy Holidays to Y'ALL!! Take care 🙂
My wife and I enjoy your videos and the messages. We pastor and minister in south central Missouri of the Ozarks. Preached my first message when I was 11 years old; in my sixties now. I would enjoy being added to your prayer list and you are definitely in our prayers as God continues to use you in His ministry. Blessings
Certainly will be praying for you as well. God Bless you guys for serving for this many years. I appreciate your prayers as well. It’s amazing what the Lord is doing with a simple message on an excavation TH-cam video! 😀👍 God Bless, Sam
My drive was that steep and every storm washed out the gravel to the bottom of the hill. I got tired of shoveling gravel half a dozen times per year and I dug four channels across the drive at an angle like sergeants stripes! I poured concrete and rebar in them and troweled them in a shallow v shape. Kind of like and inverted speed bump. The channels diverted the water off the side of the drive and into the yard and woods. It never washed out again. Water only washes things out if it is allowed to gain momentum. The channels bleed off the water before it has a chance to gain speed and momentum. It worked for me!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, there is not a better tool for prepping yards or doing maintenance on driveways than a power rake. There are several good things about the trailer incident, nobody got hurt, you had a good place to get off the road, and it was fixable. I always do this and I don't know why, but I always say, "this couldn't have happened at a worse time", when in reality there is never a good time to have an issue like that. Great job, and great message Sam. Stay safe brother.
Watching today's video was a true learning lesson. I'd never heard of a Harley Rake until earlier this year while watching you use one on your TH-cam channel. They, when used by an operator like yourself who knows his stuff, are amazing. Have you thought how prophetic the steepness of that driveway was to your encounter with that runaway trailer wheel ? Life is full of gotcha moments like that wheel when life takes a sudden change from smooth traveling to a downhill "what th' " event. You handled it well. Your message was a vital lesson in that it is important to support our pastors. Grandad always compared the members of our church to a bunch of hardworking mules. Everybody brags about how well the mules work, but no one seems to remember to thank the farmer who has worked with, trained and cared for them to lead them to completion of their tasks. Pastors are our guides and we, like the mules, get where we're going because they know the way through Jesus Christ.
Thank you enjoyed watching another video that sure was a steep driveway the Power rake did an awesome job.. I also enjoy you sharing the word at the end of your videos God bless you brother Sam.
First off glad no one got hurt Sam! Now for the ribbing… Your trailer is giving you signs from way back from when I made my video, it doesn’t like being in last place with those deck boards and is literally throwing tires off at you to get you to do something about it! 😝 Love ya buddy Take care
Thanks for the good message today! Really fun video with good camera work , could actually tell how well the rake works, appreciate the time and effort you put in your messages and videos!!
Every time I see you use the power rake, makes me want to get one more and more!! It’s on my list of attachments to get and I think it;s moving to the top of the list..
Wow! The driveway looks great Sam. The trailer… not so good. That’s the stuff you see videos of but never think it will happen to you. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family during the beginning of this holiday season.
Just as we should be tooled to receive the second coming - we should also be tooled for any mishap we encounter with our equipment as you were today. Tks for the video and God Bless!!
Driveway turned out nice, Sam. Just needs a load of gravel now. My first thought was limp the trailer home and come back for skid steer with a different trailer. Good you were able to rethread the spindle. Lost a wheel bearing on a trailer once. Wheel stayed on, just lots of smoke. Repair shop said the spindle wasn’t replaceable and had to replace axle. It was a rubber torsion axle like yours. They ride nice but are pricey to work on. Good luck. Pastors are often over looked by their congregation. They really do need more support.
I have a great pastor that's in dirt work also. Great Godly man that preachs truth! Great message as usual. Been there, done that with the tire. Happens no matter how much maintenance you do sometimes. maintenance maintenance
I predict a new video series in your future that will highlight a hub and spindle replacement, electric brakes installation, and new deck board installation. 😁
Always heard story’s about tires passing people lol gotta be a bad feeling lol praise the Lord no one was hurt lol good job with rake Sam! Amen brother they need prayer prob more than the average person if they are speaking the truth lol.
I had similar thing happen to me this summer. I didn’t lose the tire but the studs all broke. I was 150 miles from home. My trailer was a triaxle so I drove hovering home with two wheels on one side
Maybe it would help in this kind of situation. If nut starts, it usually helps by hitting the sides of the nut where the wrench would usually engage. Hitting it helps to reform the threads. Light taps usually helps to get it to turn on by hand. You might only get a few degrees of a turn, but taking it slow keeps the threads from galling like an impact wrench can do. Happy to see it was a “safe” accident and you knew what caused it, because nothing is more scary than not knowing why something failed.
Thanks Jonathan that was good info. I definitely didn’t know you could do that. Yeah I was glad to figure out what happened. Kinda weird that it happened that way… Thanks
@ it won’t work everytime, but that technique has gotten me out of some binds in my 15 years as an industrial mechanic. Also, over the last few years, the place I work at started using interflon products. The black and pink can is like penetrating oil, but better and the black and green colored tube is like never seez but less messy. I wouldn’t buy black and green spray aerosol can, the tube seems much better. This ain’t no sponsored plug, I just like the product. Also, heating bees wax works good, but boy o boy, if it’s too hot, that’s a fire you can’t put out
@ I only use the bees wax as a last option, it works wonders, but it’s a big risk if you can’t isolate it from other fuel sources. It’s a quick way to burn down a work shop or machine.
Couple ways are looking at this stuff’s going to happen at the end of the day nothing major was damaged like the jeep and nobody was hurt so depending on how you look at it I think you had a pretty good day. Consider the events of the day as always enjoy your videos.😊
@ I don’t care how bad things are it can always gets worse. Normally you don’t have to look very far to see somebody that’s in much worst shape than you are as always enjoy the video
On them step ones a must to keep ditches clean and add couple rocks or something to slow down the water not to big will plug up and not to small. But slowing down the water will help more than you think water plus gravity is strong strong anyways there’s my two cents lol
High up on that driveway looks a lot better. Look at this way what God bless you with that you didn't see , or he spared you from .we don't always see, including me.
Sam, sometimes you just don’t ask why. LOL. I believe I’ve found somebody who has the same kind of rotten luck I’ve got. Silver lining is the driveway turned out awesome, the miracle rake works again!
