Just put in bigger rock for base unless I used one inch clean seemed to pack and hold together used three inches at trucking company parking lots then went smaller hard to believe but it worked and I might of messed up cause never had to rock every year but they would order at least four load and tractor time so I guess I did alright trucking for 55 years retired a couple years ago had a sand and gravel company been busy seen a lot of growth over the years but millions of miles later I had enough driving don't like to drive but do only one with license

That's why I don't like small Cat dozers Cat puts the hydraulic lines in a bad place with no real protection I had a boss tell just replace the blown hydraulic line there were 8 going into a diverter box I told him we need to replace all of them they're all old and brittle He said no an hour after replacing the one a second line blew then he replaced all of them
Damn hose broke nothing to do with a college degree been running that stuff since fourteen years old just pay attention i even knew how to read grade stakes at that age
Hi I can almost GURANTEE you it’s a hard line sharp 90 about 3 inches fitting from cat about $200 they rot out because of captured mud..I have a D3 C and took a beating on the first one..I brazed the other side when that went. It is a huge pain to get to it…I’ll be interested to see if I guessed correctly

Fabric is a must imo when putting gravel drive way in. Especially when base is soft to start
