Tbh, I once heard a theory that the reason the Prince went up to Cinderella was not only because she was beautiful. But she was the only girl that wasn't trying to get his attention as she was too busy looking around the castle, awed at it's splendor. Not to mention, her revealing that she didn't realize he was the prince sealed the deal on his decision to marry her.
Exactly! She just dreamed of escaping her abusive home life and wanted one night to enjoy herself. ONE NIGHT. Who could blame her? She fell in love with him without realizing who he is while all the other girls were shallow and wanted to marry him for his status. Who wouldn’t love her after that?
Precisely. All the other girls were beautifully dressed and looked lovely, so ‘because she was pretty’ is a weak reason to assume that the prince was shallow
From what @ceeford9919 said about how the Prince was attracted to Cinderella because she was enjoying herself and not throwing herself at him like the other girls at the ball; I can somewhat relate to that. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, so I've been to several youth and Young Single Adult dances. And at the dances, I'd be enjoying myself, dancing and at formal dances, twirling in my pretty dress. So when the slow dances came, boys would approach me and ask me to dance with them cause they saw that I was having fun and enjoying myself. Not exactly the same thing as in this movie, but similar concept.
People always want to say Cinderella is passive and non feminist these ppl have never been in an abusive situation. She was never looking for the prince in fact she says she didn’t meet the prince to the prince.she wanted one night where she was a part of a family and that is valid.
Ironically a TH-camr I used to watch called The Fangirl claimed she was abused as akid when she got a whole bunch of backlash using cmmon conspiracy theories about Walt hating women, claiming the movie was "grooming" women into being passive damsels, and had to cange the title of the video after calling it "Cinderella's Fault" or somethig. She also made up her own warped version of Barbie's history, claiming Barbie was originally made to "groom women into being anorexic blonde bimbos" when a simple Google searcg shows the real history of Barbie and her purpose and how a WOMAN, not a MAN, made it. She had reviewd movies where female characters gt in dangerous or unfortunate situations, I pointedd out her review for Song of the Sea and how she didn't accuse that movie of being sexist or call Saoirse a damsel even though she was almost KIDNAPPED by Macha... her response was "Saoirse is a kid" so in other words, in Fangirl's mind the only time it's not sexist for a female character to be put in danger or even simply be mistreated (Cindy isn't even a damsel because a damsel in distress is actually in danger, not just a maid) is if she's a child. If she's a teen or adult you're sexist if you don't portray her being able to turn things around herself w. Again, so many people corrected Fangirl and several people who were abused or had abused pmothers (like me) corrected her and then she said she was abused but managed to get out without enotoo much help... so she's not only sexist towards girls who aren't tomboys through her CInderella bashing in general and especially her absolutely false Barbie history, but she thinks she speaks for ALL abused women. OMG you have to react to Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time! It’s surprisingly really good and the Prince and Anastasia have great character growth within the film. I’d consider it to be one of the best direct to video sequels that Disney has ever made and honestly better than the original in terms of the story.
I come bearing a fun fact. I adore Anastasia and her baker and apparently so do the Disney cast members who play the stepsisters at the parks. I saw a tiktok once of someone interacting with the sisters and the girl playing Anastasia said she loved baked goods like bread and cakes and Drizella says "and the baker" with bombastic side eye. I laughed so hard when I first saw it. On the subject of Cinderella's pink dress, there's a song that was written for the film but ultimately cut called "The Dress My Mother Wore" which makes the entire scene where the dress is destroyed even more emotionally devastating because she reveals the dress wasn't just her mother's: it was her mother's wedding dress. Speaking of the dress ripping scene, they made amazing use of color. The background, each time there is a scene cut, gets progressively darker. It starts out blue then turns pink and is eventually deep red before Lady Tremaine calls her daughters off. Just *chef's kiss* And, as always, I tune in for your singing almost every time ❤❤❤ Edit: you had it on DVD, girl I had it on VHS I felt that in my KNEES. Also Cinderella 2 was stitched together from the pieces of a scrapped TV show. Her modern voice is also Jennifer Hale who I'm sure you would recognize from her other works. Prince Charming is also voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes who is original Prince Eric. And the pink dress from the first segment always made me think of Princess Peach.
I literally always forget that the second movie wasn't just about the Baker and Anastasia. Probably because I used to skip the first two stories because they were boring lmao
Cinderella is a classic - it is one of the most heartwarming movies ever. The dress being destroyed crushed me - but the end with her saying, "I have the other slipper," still makes my heart flutter.
One of Disney's most iconic classics. The animation, especially on Cinderella's dress, the music, and the slapstick battles between Lucifer and the mice are all some of the studio's best work.
Omgosh you nailed it. Growing up, I thought Cinderella the character is bland, too nice, because she was bullied. But watching as an adult, she’s actually a 3D character, she has feelings, she can be petty, pouty. You definitely chose the right word to describe her: sassy.
42:04 i can't help but wanna BE in that scene and just go Mushu and tell Drizella "I saw that. You DO care don't you?" or "You DO have romantic dreams don't you?" Or to quote Snow White "Why Drizella! You DO care"
15:12 That's actually exactly the reason why they changed the colour of cinderella's dress from silver to light blue because they didn't want to market costume dresses that look like wedding dresses to little girls. You were right girly!
Elephants do not fear mice, no idea where that came from. HOWEVER, they ARE terrified of bees and the sounds they make. This fear is so strong many farmers in Africa will line their property with bee hives to deter elephants from eating/trampling their crops. Knowing how aggressive bees can be, that makes way more sense than mice!
I absolutely love when you do sing along videos, your voice is so pretty! As someone who cannot sing I am deeply jealous lol. You always sound stunning 😊
GIRLLL that baking minigame on the cinderella 2 dvd was one of my favorite things ever 😭 I really miss the era of children's dvds having a cool little extras section with minigames and activities. dreamworks and disney movies were always great for them. You showing that short clip of the cinderella 2 dvd menu screen brought back so many memories and so much nostalgia 🥹
OK 0:07 gave me an idea. Take all of the Disney princesses and put them in a Hunger Games arena. With the Disney copyrights beginning to expire, this will happen eventually anyway. I dare them to get ahead of the curve and do it themselves.
Starkid’s making a Cinderella musical if you wanna look into it! Its likely gonna be a satirical story like what the did with Twisted, I’m super excited for it!!! Twister’s my favorite musical so I have pretty high expectations, especially since they’ve decided to make some AWESOME puppets to go with the characters
I actually find myself rewatching the classic Cinderella a fair amount of times partly due to the mice. I just love watching them and their antics between running from Lucifer to getting food and my personal favorite scene, the dress making scene! Cinderella 2 is also a fun watch in my opinion. The Anastasia and the baker is my favorite of the 3 stories in that movie though. Second being the first story where Cinderella is learning the princess role and the Jacques isn't a favorite of mine but it's cute.
Yeah I didn’t realize how much of the movie was focused on the mice until I was reading Letterboxd reviews, and I was like huh yeah this felt like a big Tom and Jerry-esque movie 😂 I also wasn’t a huge fan on the Jaq story in the second movie, my mind kind of glazed over it 😂
dude i LOOOVE this sequel. i used to wait for it to be announced when it was going to be airing on disney channel so that i could rewatch it for the 100th time; such a good movie
my sister and I had them both on VHS in the 2000s , this video sent me straight inTO DEEP NOSTALGIA. The 2nd one IS objectively bad, but as u mentioned, as a child you truly couldn't care less about that. You'd just be happy that you got to watch MORE of them on the screen. Even that god awful Disney Channel series "the little mermaid" was pure gold to me!!! but today: omg I wanna forget :))) can't wait for the Cinderella 3 videooo
I had this movie on VHS because I was in grade 2 when it came out!! My sister and I used to watch it all the time growing up and loved the music videos that played at the end 😂😭 Great nostalgic trip with that one ❤
I remember in the third Cinderella movie the baker makes a very small appearance at the very end…. Maybe even as an after credits montage. But they do show him in there because I was upset he didn’t have a bigger role in the movie 🥲 #justiceforbakerboy #peetasdad lol
Cinderella has always been my favourite fairytale and my favourite movie as well and the first one is just so beautiful and takes me back to my childhood days I love everything about it from the characters like Cinderella and of course Jaq and Gus and her dress transformation scene will always be iconic and fun fact it also Walt Disneys favourite piece of animation as well. And as for the second one a lot don’t seem to like it but love it too as kid because it was nice to see the different stories especially the one when you see the character development of Anastasia and see her become Nice and find love with the baker boy ❤️❤️ also I like one were you see Jaq become human too 😁 I love that you did both movies today and hope you you’d enjoyed them and can’t wait to the third one 😁😊💙💙
20:53 there’s a possibility that she doesn’t because if this is the 19th century and before then she probably has a layer or layers of petticoats underneath. Maybe even a crinoline? That might be more era specific
What’s interesting is that you’re actually watching the brand new 4K transfer of Cinderella and it’s stunning. It looks way more accurate and so much line work has returned. It’s one of the best remasters ever. Snow White also got the same treatment but Cinderella had one of the worst transfers in history. This video just confirms how good this film looks.
you probably definitely know this, but in the third movie in the credits there is a portrait of anastasia and the baker, so even in that timeline they fall in love
You singing the songs from the first movie made me a bit teary-eyed. My grandmother used to sing those songs (alongside Sinatra and Martin) while she worked around the house. I miss her so very much.
Excellent reaction 😊❤️❤️ The "head servant lady", "head-slinging, slash-slinging..." The female servant, I think she would be called a Governess, maybe 🤔 Great video again, I also hope you got the slashing slinging reference 😅
Ok so the last time I watched this movie I audibly gasped when Lucifer fell from the tower after because it never really registered with me. I know he's in the sequels but there's no way he didn't die from that height? Landing on your feet or not lol. I was just shocked because I know he's bad but he's also only a cat lol. But it was interesting to see/get the classic Disney villain fall to their death scene that many have. Anyway, Cinderella is such a classic and has so many iconic moments for a variety of reasons. It's a fairy tale I personally never get tired of and seeing the scene where she flees from the castle and looses her slipper is such a moment. Fills me with serotonin lol.
The 2nd Disney Cinderella film doesn't need to be seen for you to understand Cinderella 3. It's basically 3 episodes of a failed TV show that never got picked up by Disney like Atlantis or got picked up for 1 season like Tarzan.
I’m sure someone mentioned it, but the second Cinderella movie is a few episodes of a prospective series that didn’t get greenlit, but they didn’t want the finished ones to go to waste, so they put the episodes together in an anthology film.
You just don't know i was having a really bad night an morning only to wake up to not only a video, not just a double feature but a sing along🥰. Thank you Sophia i'm sorry the video gave you so much trouble but know that i and the rest of your subs really appreciate your hard work.16:35 oh my poor heart. Keep growing but never change.❤💚💙
Cinderella 2 is pretty fun all things considered, but I would never think of it as canon and treat it as a backdoor pilot to a show that never came to be, like Belle's Magical World (which we don't talk about since it negates all the character development they had, not to mention the awful animation).
I swear if we cut down the mice screen time to like 5 minutes instead of 20 maybe the movie could be more focused on the step family and Cinderella and prince. The movie would be so much better bc everything with step family is fun.
You are not the only one that has seen Cinderella 2 and 3 growing up! I was a wh*re for sequels especially Disney ones as a kid! I had little mermaid 2, Cinderella 2 and 3, beauty and the beast 2, it is a lovely Christmas movie, and even Aladdin 2 and tarzan 2! Of course my late 90's baby ass got them all on VHS tapes 😂 and ya those games on DVDs were either so easy or hard as f*ck for some reason! I was a massive potterhead growing up, I just loved any magical movie honestly, and some of those DVD games were IMPOSSIBLE! Especially with the DVD player I had as a kid didn't have a remote, you had to go up to the player and hit the directional keys and everything 😂😅.
I've always loved the original Cinderella even as a kid. Its just so dreamy and romantic ❤ Oh yeah, and if you want ROMANCE, you should listen to the french version of So This Is Love. Talk about swoon-worthy...
@@SophiaPhannn Aww thank you so much for those kind words, his legacy lives on, and when I see the films he worked on its a special connection every time
I also grew up watching Cinderella II in DVD and I was obsessed with the little games, especially the one where you had to tidy up the castle or something hahaha 🥹
“You watch it once and then you’re good”😂 That made me laugh because this was my favorite movie as a kid and I watched it a million times over and over!
This was definitely the first I've seen or heard of Cinderella 2. This was also a major nostalgia flashback. - As Cinderella, for some reason was one of the few movies I owned a video copy of when I was was younger. Because of all that artistic craftmanship you spoke of, It really did stand up to the test of constant re-watching before the age of streaming lol. I had totally forgotten how few movie and entertainment options I had, and how totally content I was with it at the time. I guess I'll play the singing mouse movie again lmao.
I loved Cinderella a lot as a kid, but I fell in love with it again as an adult simply because of how BEAUTIFUL it is. The colors and shapes, ugh. So pretty
I never knew Cinderella was hated/disliked, until i was many years deep into the internet. She is one of the only Disney girlies i have always like, the rest of the princesses movies i found dull or don't care about.
I cannot help but loving Cinderella in every form. Something about the first movie too is that it happens in real time. We follow from moment to moment lol. Also when she is dancing with the Prince: I love them together because she is just singing out loud all of sudden like a crazy person and he just joins in. This is what love is 😂🥰
11:28 I once read something that someone online wrote that the reason the stepsisters were so jealous of the pink dress is because she managed to make stuff that they had thrown away look good. They were infuriated that their old things looked better on her than they did on them. Lady Tremaine could have told Cinderella to take off the pink dress and then have her watch as the stepsisters tore it apart, but no, she wanted Cinderella to feel the psychological abuse by having Anastasia and Drizella rip it while the dress was still on her. What Sophia said about how the dress transformation scene is so magical with all the little sparkles, I saw this meme that Disney made the biggest mistake when they got rid of that one sparkly feature that was on Cinderella's gown and prominently featured in the mining scene in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves."
I miss those DVD’s games they where so cool, bring those back they where the bomb And I loved the second Cinderella movie bc I have a big nose, eye bags and crooked teeth and I never felt like a princess, I always felt like the “ugly stepsisters”, and seeing Anastasia falling in love and hearing Cinderella calling her pretty was something very big and important for me. It’s not a good movie but it helped me a lot when I was a kid
Cinderella is one of my most favorite female characters (not avorite Disney princess) but generally... Because despite all her hardships she is still able to be kind to others and forgiving. And that requires real strength. And I also like her sass. Of course I love the original Cinderella the most but there's really something about the 3rd movie that surprised me. Disney writing something like this deserves applause and I'm sad they didn't do so more often. Where they "twist" a story and then come back around. So I'm looking forward to you covering this movie ♥
15:52 There her dress looks blue, and during "So This is Love," so that's why they changed the color of her dress in marketing to blue. On a side note, I always did think that human Jaq was ugly.
I owned the DVD too!!! Those games were my life ✨ I had the whole trilogy and eventually Cinderella 3 stopped working cause I watched it ALL. THE. TIME.
When I was younger my favourite mini story from the second movie was the one where Cinderella learns how to be a princess and fails. And after watching this, it’s still good
I've always had a soft spot towards Cinderella as a character. She's holding her own in an extremely fraught and abusive household situation, so it irks me when people say she "doesn't do anything". Like bruh she's being abused tf you want her to do climb out the window??? It's Literally Her House Also it really hits that the thing that hurts her the most was her mother's dress being torn to shreds, like the one physical item that still holds a connection to her loving parents... ;___; as much as I wish her fairy godmother stepped in sooner I'm glad she looked at that and said "Okay no That's Enough"
If you watch the credits for Cinderella 3 there should be an image of anastasia and the baker. So it seems that in the end she does find her prince charming after all. ❤
Girl I would love to see this as a series! Disney classics and their less well known direct to video sequels! Except Lion King 2... I love that movie 🤭
I think there may have been two different timelines in the Cinderella movies. One timeline is where Cinderella's step-family didn't know that part of the reason why Cinderella is able to be present at the ball is magic, but in another timeline, a year after Cinderella married the prince, her step-family know that her success was partly due to magic. In the case where her step family doesn't know about magic, the story continues from the timeline of the first movie as the second movie. In the case where her step family know about magic, the story continues from the timeline of the third movie, in both timelines, the redemption arc happened. And it is kind of the first time we see someone who married into royalty how the adjusting process works from Cinderella, other female leads in Disney movies who married into royalty don't have this kind of thing
People rag on Cinderella (and Ariel) and I will NEVER stand for it 😤 Also, I owned all 3 Cinderella movies (along with The Little Mermaid) and was obsessed with them!!! I also loved those games... you are not alone!!
This video gave me THE WORST technical difficulties of my life, so please enjoy this labor of love and tears 😭
We thank you for your hard work ❤🙌
I've been going through Sophia withdrawal so i appreciate this upload very much 👏🏿

Just *chef's kiss*
And, as always, I tune in for your singing almost every time ❤❤❤
Edit: you had it on DVD, girl I had it on VHS I felt that in my KNEES.
I had the first Cinderella on VHS so not too far off 😂
I literally always forget that the second movie wasn't just about the Baker and Anastasia. Probably because I used to skip the first two stories because they were boring lmao
This movie saved Disney from bankruptcy after World war 2
Cinderella is a classic - it is one of the most heartwarming movies ever. The dress being destroyed crushed me - but the end with her saying, "I have the other slipper," still makes my heart flutter.
One of Disney's most iconic classics. The animation, especially on Cinderella's dress, the music, and the slapstick battles between Lucifer and the mice are all some of the studio's best work.
I literally screamed NOW WHY LEAVE OUT THE BEST ONE when I saw the title 😂
If I had even an ounce of patience I would’ve gotten my answer 🤭
Omg editing 3 movies into one video would’ve destroyed my sanity (and laptop) 😂
Omgosh you nailed it. Growing up, I thought Cinderella the character is bland, too nice, because she was bullied.
But watching as an adult, she’s actually a 3D character, she has feelings, she can be petty, pouty. You definitely chose the right word to describe her: sassy.
It might just be the Mandela effect but I could’ve sworn that Gus’ name was short for Augustus.
Yeah it threw me in a loop, I had no idea how she got Gus out of the name Octavius 😅
My son's name is Augustus and we call him Gus Gus for short sometimes 😊
The fact that i just watched these two movies then this gets posted is crazy 😭
Our minds were in sync 🧠⚡️🧠
The voice actress of Lady Tremaine from Cinderella is soo good 👌🏼
She is also the VA of Maleficient from Sleeping Beauty
@@MadamStrawberryrose
Ah, the mistress of evil herself!
Seeing Cinderella go after Lucifer with the broom reminded me of her breaking her glass slipper and using it as a weapon in wreck it Ralph 2 😂
Sophia girl your singing is getting so GOOD
Omg thank you 🥹 I kind of hated it because I was sick, but I’m glad you think it was good!!!
I need Sophia singing this is love on Spotify - it’s such an underrated song!
Omg 🙈 thank you 🥹🫶🏼
you're so valid for thinking that was cheese instead of corn! I did too for the longest time 😭
Nowhere near as silly as thinking it was Rice Bubbles or Weet-Bix grain ✋🏼 (context: I was stupid as a kid)
i was OBSESSED with the second cinderella my entire childhood i loved it so much .. making me wanna watch the english version now
same!
Thank you lovely 🫶🏼🥹
Yes you have a beautiful singing voice
GIRLLL that baking minigame on the cinderella 2 dvd was one of my favorite things ever 😭 I really miss the era of children's dvds having a cool little extras section with minigames and activities. dreamworks and disney movies were always great for them. You showing that short clip of the cinderella 2 dvd menu screen brought back so many memories and so much nostalgia 🥹
THE BAKING GAME WAS SO FUN, I always had a BLAST
Cinderella was not lost in the ballroom. She was mesmerized with the new environment she was in and was just enjoying the moment.
Cinderella 2 was ok but not the greatest sequel. Cinderella 3 was a masterpiece! ❤
Cinderella is my favorite disney princess she’s such a badass in a twist in time
OK 0:07 gave me an idea. Take all of the Disney princesses and put them in a Hunger Games arena. With the Disney copyrights beginning to expire, this will happen eventually anyway. I dare them to get ahead of the curve and do it themselves.
Omg Snow White has to be the first one out LMFAO
@@SophiaPhannn That was my first thought too, so helpless in the forest! My bet would totally be on Mulan to win it all, or maybe Miranda :)
OMG I know what you mean, I watched those animated series because I wanted to know what those characters were up to outside of their movies 😂
I had this movie on VHS because I was in grade 2 when it came out!! My sister and I used to watch it all the time growing up and loved the music videos that played at the end 😂😭
Great nostalgic trip with that one ❤
OMG I remember the music videos 😂 I loved when Disney would put those cheap mvs by these random unknown artists LMAO
I remember in the third Cinderella movie the baker makes a very small appearance at the very end…. Maybe even as an after credits montage. But they do show him in there because I was upset he didn’t have a bigger role in the movie 🥲
#justiceforbakerboy #peetasdad lol
No better day than a Sophia sing-a-long day!. Even when you're under the weather: love that voice! ❤
Thank you 🥹🫶🏼
you probably definitely know this, but in the third movie in the credits there is a portrait of anastasia and the baker, so even in that timeline they fall in love
You singing the songs from the first movie made me a bit teary-eyed. My grandmother used to sing those songs (alongside Sinatra and Martin) while she worked around the house. I miss her so very much.
Excellent reaction 😊❤️❤️
The "head servant lady", "head-slinging, slash-slinging..." The female servant, I think she would be called a Governess, maybe 🤔
Great video again, I also hope you got the slashing slinging reference 😅
GOVERNESS omg yes that’s the one
I don't think Cinderella was lost, I think she might have been admiring the scenery.
normally i get mad when people sing over the songs but your version was actually so beautiful omg
Omg aww thank you 🥹 I know what you mean though HAHA
Definitely need to react to 2015 live action version! Probably one of the best Live action yet.
You gotta do a video about those georgous bracelets someday
Man, you sang “So This Is Love” beautifully!
Honestly the best part of these videos is listening to Sophia's gorgeous voice singing all the songs
The 2nd Disney Cinderella film doesn't need to be seen for you to understand Cinderella 3. It's basically 3 episodes of a failed TV show that never got picked up by Disney like Atlantis or got picked up for 1 season like Tarzan.
Oh yeah for sure, but I still wanted to watch it for the sake of it being a sequel 😂
3:45 I think it’s also may be supposed to illustrate her shivering
I’m sure someone mentioned it, but the second Cinderella movie is a few episodes of a prospective series that didn’t get greenlit, but they didn’t want the finished ones to go to waste, so they put the episodes together in an anthology film.
You just don't know i was having a really bad night an morning only to wake up to not only a video, not just a double feature but a sing along🥰. Thank you Sophia i'm sorry the video gave you so much trouble but know that i and the rest of your subs really appreciate your hard work.16:35 oh my poor heart. Keep growing but never change.❤💚💙
I hope your day gets better 🫶🏼
Awesome reaction of my favorite Cinderella movie!!!!😊😊😊😊
Cinderella 2 is pretty fun all things considered, but I would never think of it as canon and treat it as a backdoor pilot to a show that never came to be, like Belle's Magical World (which we don't talk about since it negates all the character development they had, not to mention the awful animation).
I swear if we cut down the mice screen time to like 5 minutes instead of 20 maybe the movie could be more focused on the step family and Cinderella and prince. The movie would be so much better bc everything with step family is fun.
Girl, this was such a slap of nostalgia! My dad got me this movie on dvd...and even he said Anastasia's story was the best one.😅
U LITTERY HAVE CINDERELLAS SINGING VOICE AND ITS BEAUTIFUL!❤
I've always loved the original Cinderella even as a kid. Its just so dreamy and romantic ❤ Oh yeah, and if you want ROMANCE, you should listen to the french version of So This Is Love. Talk about swoon-worthy...
Omg I have heard it in French!! Honestly, I think So This is Love in any language will sound beautiful 🥰
I had the Cinderella 2 DVD and loved the movie and the games. I remember playing the baking with Fairy Godmother game and it was my favorite
my great-grandfather was an effects animator on this film 🥰🥰
WOW that’s amazing!! Thank you to your great-grandfather for his impeccable work 🫡
@@SophiaPhannn Aww thank you so much for those kind words, his legacy lives on, and when I see the films he worked on its a special connection every time
I also grew up watching Cinderella II in DVD and I was obsessed with the little games, especially the one where you had to tidy up the castle or something hahaha 🥹
I rewatch the first and third cinderella movies all the time i even put the first one on to go to sleep sometimes
Cinderella will always be my favorite movie idk why I just love it
brooo yes the games on the bonus features!! you just awoke a memory from my childhood
Not only have I seen the second movie, but I owned it. . .on VHS!
Sophia, I NEED you to do singing covers like r8ght this second because WHATT
🥹🫶🏼 thank you
“You watch it once and then you’re good”😂 That made me laugh because this was my favorite movie as a kid and I watched it a million times over and over!
She’s never been a favorite of mine, but I am quite fond of her. Even more so now that I’ve rewatched the movies!
Sophia: I'm on the latter end of a cold so my singing voice may not be the best
Also Sophia: casually proceeds to sing beautifully
oh my gosh I used to watch cinderella 2 religiously lmaoo!! the mini games on the bonus features were so fun!
She *is* sassy! I love when other people recognize it!
I miss those DVD’s games they where so cool, bring those back they where the bomb
And I loved the second Cinderella movie bc I have a big nose, eye bags and crooked teeth and I never felt like a princess, I always felt like the “ugly stepsisters”, and seeing Anastasia falling in love and hearing Cinderella calling her pretty was something very big and important for me. It’s not a good movie but it helped me a lot when I was a kid
I feel you on the crooked teeth 😩 it was my biggest insecurity for the first 20 years of my life before I got them fixed
I agree!! It takes some real courage and strength to remain kind 💕
I had Cinderella 3 on DVD and I LOVED it. It makes rewatching the OG Cinderella more interesting.
15:52 There her dress looks blue, and during "So This is Love," so that's why they changed the color of her dress in marketing to blue.
On a side note, I always did think that human Jaq was ugly.
I owned the DVD too!!! Those games were my life ✨
I had the whole trilogy and eventually Cinderella 3 stopped working cause I watched it ALL. THE. TIME.
Lady Tremaine frightened me so bad as a kid (and still a little now) lol! also HOW IS GUS SHORT FOR OCTAVIUS??
When I was younger my favourite mini story from the second movie was the one where Cinderella learns how to be a princess and fails. And after watching this, it’s still good
42:20 Prince Eric is from the little mermaid.
Prince charming in Cinderella does have a name but I forget. It’s like George or Charles.
I've always had a soft spot towards Cinderella as a character. She's holding her own in an extremely fraught and abusive household situation, so it irks me when people say she "doesn't do anything". Like bruh she's being abused tf you want her to do climb out the window??? It's Literally Her House
Also it really hits that the thing that hurts her the most was her mother's dress being torn to shreds, like the one physical item that still holds a connection to her loving parents... ;___; as much as I wish her fairy godmother stepped in sooner I'm glad she looked at that and said "Okay no That's Enough"
If you like the first one you’ll love Cinderella swift in time! It’s a must watch!
Luckily there is a manhwa where a women is isekai and become Cinderella's stepmother and no longer evil. It's Pretty good
Do you remember the title?
People rag on Cinderella (and Ariel) and I will NEVER stand for it 😤 Also, I owned all 3 Cinderella movies (along with The Little Mermaid) and was obsessed with them!!! I also loved those games... you are not alone!!
