The hair reminded me of cosplay, I was distracted by your eyebrows, and I think while the shirt might classify as "normal" the pants didn't really match. Overall, it reminded me of the BuzzFeed video where they smeared on white make up and wore like a black dress and called themselves Goth when they weren't really close. It wasn't who they were. And this is clearly not who you are or the way you feel most comfortable. I think people are best when they are themselves, so I would say don't this again just because it doesn't seem like you really enjoyed it.

I think even your attempt at "normal" still had a really alternative vibe to it. It was the teased up wig, the eyebrow shape, the thick eyeliner, etc. I have some suggestions for attempt #2 if you'd be willing. And they are as follows: Natural hair, just curl it a bit and let it hang loose and do the wavy thing. Thick eyebrows are "trendy" and kind of normal right now. Thin eyeliner with a tiny wing. Some pink lip balm (don't line your lips!) and just a bit of bronzer maybe. I can absolutely imagine what you'd look like and it is SO FAR off your usual look that I think it would make for a great juxtaposition.

I actually know a few gingers with that hair color. Actual gingers usually have more of an orange than red hair going on.
+CarrionSoul it depends on the person. I had two natural ginger girls in one class once. side by side on girl had orange hair the other had more a red color to her hair.
Daija Watson That is true. I would say that much of the time the later more red haired person is usually called a red head, while the previous is usually referred to as a ginger. I have friends that make the distinction as well, but they are both technically ginger. It just depends the makeup of their genetics and melanin ETC ETC that determines the color outcomes. My point being though that orange hair actually can be quite normal in reference to the OP suggesting orange hair being natural is a lie.

I hate how goths pull up others for stereotyping them and assuming, but that's all she fucking did through this whole video.
I think the thing that I find ironic with so called unique individuals is that they they fall into the same molded patterns as the folks they try so desperately hard to not be like. They become expected to dress and behave the same way as they always do and they adhere to those expectations. They are expected to stay within that confined space as much as normal folks are expected to stay in theirs. A truly unique individual would dress goth one day, a bookworm the next and maybe a Disney princess the following. Is there any difference between saying "I only wear black" and, "I only wear pink"?
Cmmmm no because goths font just dress in black. If u do some research on the subculture u will see that here are subcultures inside the subculture. And every goth looks and dresses differently.
A truly unique individual does whatever he wants to do. The "goth scene" is a tag because our world needs tags. When a photographer asked me and my friends to help him understand what the "goth culture" was he was surprised to see that a single "goth subculture" doesn't really exist. So he decided to report with a photo our personalities and they were so different to one another. We don't even like the same groups, the same clothes, the same movies, not even the same colors (Black Frieday loves black, i love dark grey and deep red, someone else may love purple or brown or green or blue). There is something in common, but not everything. There is no "norm" or "standard" to fulfil.

But we are all different so we can't all be put into the same category. I'm goth but I'm into other styles too. That does not make me a wannabe! However some would say I am. But I could care less ☺

Ok, some tips for this next time you speak of. 1. Don't style your hair like that, it's "messy" in the "normal" style apparently 2. Don't wear bright clothes like that, especially not bright green, orange, or yellow 3. Keep your normal black hair Yup that's it! But I think you are really pretty the way you usually dress XD

I think if you had a less bright hair colour and styled it down more you'd look more 'normal', but I think the hair still stands out a lot and contrasts so strongly with the green

Try contouring. Dont use ur wig, go with ur natural hair and try curl it. Remove that chain.Use like denim jeans with a bit of rips by on the thigh. Then try on a nice top like something pretty flowy. Lastly wear some black wedges.
