    Hell yeah!!
That's a great tip on not doing a strict pushup. I'll be modifying my technique to see if that helps.

Great, it requires a little more back mobility but once you’ve got it, it’s a massive help

Hello Woodsy. I'm hoping to do my first Hyrox next year ... just starting to train for it. Loving your content. Just curious to how fast someone at your level and physical build can run without doing the exercises between? For example a straight 5k, 8k, 10k race? Of course it makes no difference as this isn't what is being tested but I'm curious none the less. Cheers.

Thank you, that’s awesome. I don’t measure it too frequently but me personally 5km around 19mins, 10km around 42 minutes. But there’s plenty of examples of people my size and build that run faster with slower Hyrox times and vice versa. I done a video on “how to work out your pace for HYROX” that might be helpful.

At 3:24, is the rule then that the trailing foot cannot go ahead of the first foot? Or does the leg itself matter? Thanks for all the help through your channel!

It’s the foot, so on the way down your hands have to go down at maximum a forearms length from your feet and then on the way up each foot must be planted behind the hands.

I did my first test run before the event in Madrid and this station was where everything went downhill...this is an exercise that inside a regular workout I can perform with relative ease but in this test it was surprisingly difficult. I had to take big breaths every 10 meters and it took me a bit more than 8 minutes to finish....brutal.

Yes it’s very different within the race you have to practice what pace to run at before and after
