I think most of us would have instinctually jumped off the yoshi, trying to reach the axe at 36:40. But Ryu had the wherewithal to know that getting hit would make him invincible, and overall the right play.

There is NOTHING about super expert endless, as far as watching someone play, that can match the value that 100-man has brought to the table. They might have tweaked some things in 2 and made it a little better or a little worse, but removing the 100-live run entirely, without any real substitute, was a firm step _backward._
this is just insane, it's just that feeling you have when you complete a challenge. 100 mario challenge has a goal and credits and final cutscene, it's the feeling of accomplishment. This is just great, I actually felt my heart racing at the end, I even stopped chewing my Pringles mid-way

I think that's the green screen editing software, I think it chroma-keyed yoshi to the purple background. For the popup shot, Ryu must have turned it off, but for the composite shot, not so much.
Since you're bringing back Super Mario Maker 1 on this channel, I thought it would be a cool idea if you made a video/videos on comparing what making levels is like in SMM1 to SMM2. Maybe you could even do a Power Hour style level and video.
