I know how to make a level that will piss off everyone at Nintendo. Start with 4 pipes and note blocks that say Easy, Normal, Expert, and Super Expert, each of which lead to a course of corresponding difficulty. Since you can decide the difficulty you want at the start of the level, it's impossible to categorize it. Want to make it even worse? Forget the note blocks, or lie in the note blocks. That way you don't know what you're getting.
That would work, EXCEPT that because people can decide (of four pipes) which course they want, they may just decide that the expert/super expert levels are too hard, and go with the easier ones. As a result, the clear rate would be higher, pushing it towards normal if not easy. The real way to make this level hell is to make a challenge before each "pipe". Easy is blocked by a super expert difficulty path, and super expert is blocked by an "easy" path, so on and so forth
This is absolutely, hands down, one of my all-time favorite episodes from Ryu. I love all his VODs, and I love all his live streams... But this one VOD alone is my absolute favorite.

I don't have Mario maker but I was just wondering if that would count as a life lost... If you have Mario Maker and know about that, I guess that answers my question. Similarly, if everyone just turned off the game before they died on P-break until they beat it would it show a 100% clear rate? Or would reseting count as a life? I might do an @ sign but I do you think I'd have enough time to beat P-break before I finished typing it? Haha. Good ideas, friend ;)

I have been watching since the beginning of 2017 but last week was the first time I played Mario maker and it is hard, watching ryukhar beat these levels so easily but now that I am going back to watch some of his previous videos I really get to see how good ryukhar really is.
