This is the Super Mario Maker Expert "no death" challenge, where I have to beat 16 expert levels without losing a single life.

I still can’t believe that Nintendo would just kill this game. The entire game revolves around access to other peoples levels.
Ryu managed to play 72 levels in runs in this video. he beat ~51.4% of them. if each death signifies one run, we have 37 runs in this video. in a 200 min video, that means each run takes an average of 3.78 minutes. since his odds of any one run finishing 16 levels in a row are ~1/42000 (.514^16), that means he would need to make ~1140 videos of this challenge to have a reasonable expectation of succeeding at it. this is the 34th video in the series. the first was uploaded 9 months ago. generously, let's say he uploads 4 such videos a month until he finishes it. therefore, unless he gets insanely lucky, it will take him 24 freakin years to beat this challenge!

What an end to a chapter. mm with all it's glitched out steaming garbage levels it'll be truly missed. Thankfully we have years worth of videos of Ryu playing those levels so we can be reminded of the good ole days.

You can tell Ryu’s been in the middle of his villain origin story ever since he started murdering Yoshi at the end of every single level without comment. This challenge might be corrupting him.

When you actually end up beating it, I need to see an edit of every single death (recorded) in the chase to accomplish this goal. Or at least every death that garnered a reaction.

Sure, the success rate per level would be lower but having to get through 6 vs 16 levels makes a giant difference.

I think you should have to advance with 100 lives - not fail of you ever lose one life. For example if it takes you 3 tries, you have to end with 3 1-ups or you fail. If you ever lose more than 4 in a level, run is automatically over.
He would've made that long ago. You know he was at level 14 before, and level 13 many times, right? The challenge is possible.
