Before modern tech. ? This is the ultimate evolution of true technology. 100% renewable, green, healthy, in tune. Don't reply , but would you live that way? Because I would. In a heart beat.

I've lived like that in the Bush, make sure you can access water, and can make fire beyond using a lighter and matches..Big Rule, "Do not eat it if you're not positive what it is. Sounds simple. The best times of this life were spent out there, my wife was ready to come back, so we came back, it's a "we" thing, but that's a different topic.

Not folk art it was our lives. Our history

Folk culture is living breathing life itself. There is an aesthetic dimension in constructing a wigwam. Read a little about what folk culture is.

@@upnorthfilmsdocs no sr that’s cultural art, folk is just every day things, is a feather just a feather,? Is a water drum just a drum? Are messages from the manidoog just coincidences, we all know that it goes deeper that in which how many can’t understand. So please save the it, I’m from the Algonquin, midewin and huichol people, I don’t need a history listen I know where I’m from and which generations came before me. Stay blessed. You can do some reading if you have no elders or children to teach you. Folk culture that’s another name to make our daily household items just things to pretty cuz they came from an Indigenous culture. There was a teachings with everyday amongst the manidoog that came with it. You have a blessed day

Now I understand. Some will think the words, "Folk Art", trivialize the cultural traditions shown in the film. The purpose of the film is to honor those traditions. Migwetch for telling me. I will change it when my editor returns in the fall. PTW, I am of Finnish Saami ancestry. Blessings to you.

How is it that our culture is the only one that our gallery worthy and fine arts are only folk arts like we are Imaginary stories to a child, that’s so wrong, it’s like a man with two left feet and only one right shoe. Our art is legendary, it is the stories of our ancestors. We are not folklore
