Is it weird that I watch all this shit, yet haven't skated in about 15 years? Plus I was a total poser. Sucked. Landed a kickflip... Twice. Broke wrist and ankle. I am a drummer... Enough was enough. Skating was jeopardizing my music. Still love and appreciate the culture.
I suck too, bro. Just started back skating periodically a few years ago, but I don't get much time to practice because of work, and since I run heavy equipment, I've gotten a little chunky and lazy lol. Now after about 30 minutes of flat ground practice, I'm beat and gotta call it a day. I love longboarding though, and have been doing that pretty consistently for a little over 10 years. "Real" skaters hate on it, but I love cruising and bombing hills. I still wear skate shoes and rep the culture every day because I love everything about it
The The Daily Caller reported on Tuesday night the president had asked for the release and that he would be releasing the report in the next two weeks and would not not release the information to reporters or reporters at this point until after his inauguration on Tuesday night in at the White House’s House of Representatives in New Orleans
I’d really be surprised if no other brands have already done a “Sustainable push” in skateboarding. Like, I’m not sure how much they actually made a real world difference, but wasn’t that the whole vibe/idea of Habitat and Element? And sustainability is such a buzz word/topic right now, could it really be the case that Globe is the first to actually take that approach? I have my doubts...
@@DylanHughesPhotoVideo yeah Hemp was the best material they used way back when also the strongest Since marijuana is legal In so many states now I'm surprised were not using hemp more 🌿🌏
Ima get a pair for the office. Someone told me it's a comfy shoe and I've never tried a high top slip on before. And I'm curious how protective the top PU layer is.
@@DaltonBalkwill any update on how they stood up for you and skated?! Curious to try them out, for the price point it’s kind of a big risk to take for me!
Looks like a hot leather shoe but I’m glad he’s made a deal glad for any skater making money through skating since it’s not that easy to make a living off it
Homie at the shop knows I’m a skin and only really like boots and will only wear high top skate shoes - mostly sk8 his but I got into the lakai flaco 2s for a bit but anyway I had stopped skating for about a year due to injury and am just getting back into it and breaking a pair of these in. Got my Ollie’s and kick flips back in about an hour. I feel like once the outer rubber and the upper start to come together it’s going to be an amazing shoe, expecting them to have a decent lifespan
You don’t need insoles they’re really really cushy and the pua upper like. Catching a board to the top of your foot still sucks but not like wearing a all canvas vans classic or something comparable to that
I personally hated these slim profile shoes. To me, Globe is known for those big chunky shoes that are made to withstand anything you throw at it and still be comfortable. I've skated the Tilts for the longest and to see this shift and this new era of pro shoe is honestly kind of depressing. If they could make a 'Sustainable' big shoe like what they once did in the late 90s, that would be fucking fire.
As much as I agree and love that style of shoe, it's comparable to why classic American muscle cars aren't made in the same shape anymore. It's too much material and cost for the manufacturer for the return of profit of a niche audience.
@@remy_james That is true to an extent. Muscle cars were really a niche thing to begin with, the big shoes at the time was the standard across the board (No pun intended) That comparison does make sense in that context given how companies have moved from the concept of buying 1 pair and having it last a longer period of time to now being it wears out quick, throw it away and buy a new one (At least in footwear and technological senses)
@@edwarddelacruz3923 100%. It was big puffy's, or like, Vans slips or era's... I guess it was up to the skater what they preferred but that was about it. Just the 2 styles. But hey, over time we figured out a middle ground and now have some of the best functioning shoes skateboarding has ever seen! But I guess what I meant with the car analogy was just how older cars in general were all boats of cars back then, compared to nowadays.
I mean Dylan and Austyn were good friends growing up, it's always natural for friends to dress/act/similarities between them. They both were dressing the same too at the same time lol
Dylan would want one of his closest friends to keep the style going plus you’ve never been into something with a group of friends?? Same concept just these guys are huge in skateboarding

There were shoes in the 90s that used vegan materials💯

Underated shoe. So clean
Dope if you’re into Chelsea boots, although the Chelsea boot hype is dying out a bit. I think they’re sick.
aight im sold lol
This looks worse than those all denim ipaths back in the day, and that's saying something
Funny that he called out Elijah for copying Dylan , but Austyns shoe looks just like Dylan’s Huf shoe
But not really Dylan’s shoe is low top, looks like a dress shoe as well but pretty different still
Lol no. This is a Chelsea Boot design. Dylan never made a Chelsea Boot.

They designed the shoes together, cmon
I'm pretty sure it's a spiritual successor to Dylan's gravis model.
Austin is one of the few who can wear this shoe CROB would look like a A Hole with em
skate dads gonna be rocking these while recoding their children send huge gaps
Love the simplicity of the shoe. Less is more.
Dc was doing the sustainability thing for years wdym nobody’s doing it smh
Fine looking shoe♥️
No one is hype in the studio......
Those galoshes r bumin ppl out
He did say fencing shoe also...
Hol up if he wasn't kidding about riding a 7.5..... with a size 14, how is that possible 😭😭
Yeah if you shop at a dirty thrift store and wear used Pants that your homie sold you on Instagram, globes are not for you...
Love the shoe. Still tryna break mine in 😏
True to size ?
What’s the sizing/ fit like?
globe has ONLY ever been skate, so wtf he talking about

......you may want to double check that statement

Not really totally different style, the gum sold looks like a vans shoe.
