I plan on doing an update sometime soon since I’ve been using more sustainable menstrual products for almost a year now! If y’all have any other questions or suggestions, feel free to drop them below! Stay tuned!
Also, do you have a favorite disposable one? So far I’ve tried the Softdisc Feminine Protection Disc but it doesn’t last 12 hours as promised. It leaks even when I’m light.
Thank you thank you thank that couldn't of been more perfect of a review for me. I have heard sboit them I've had girlfriends who used them and swore by them...but I just wasn't sure. I acually have been researching them for like 3 years. But never got one ya cus the price, but also cus I too have serious fear of tampons and times I've had to use them they just feel horrible to me and never even really worked always leaked...and the supers nah uh no way. So ya I've always used moon pads that my Mama sews and makes for me. I wanted a menstrual cup but I just couldn't pay that much for something I wasn't sure will work for me. Anyways I've watched like hundreds of reviews on these and none really quiet convinced me...until Your review. So I bought the Cora cup today, literally started my period while in the dang store acually...but I was luckily ok cus it's like super cold outside and so I've got long johns on under my sweats so I made it home quick enough to get a pad on. And I just started boiling it. And I'm taking my shower in just a minute so we'll see how this goes and ima start off with your "7" figure shape fold and maybe I'll have better luck the first try than you did. But ya, just wanted to thank you for giving such a detailed and genuine review for this cup, so thankful I found your review tonight. I almost wasn't going to use it.
Girl this is the perfect video, right on time I totally understand when you said “cheap” because that happened to me this morning I thought about the honey pot but it’s sold online only and my local target has Cora so I think this might convince me to go on and go with it. And I too am glad that another black woman tried it out as well LOL
Those things *do* migrate upward… you ain’t kidding! How long did you boil? I totally forgot to do that before using first time- just washed with antibacterial soap and hot water :/ I got the Cora. and aside from rolling around in my shower for half an hour trying to remove it (I think my cervix is in my f’ing throat or something… hahah) man I’m so pleased. I’ll never go back to crampons. Ditto on the forgetting being on your period thing too… hell yeah! You’re beautiful btw and thanks for posting this. -Leah, on my dudes TH-cam account… whoops.
Thank you so much for this video! I just bought a cup for my next period and this video really made me feel so much better and comfortable about it! (Btw ik my name is George on here but I’m a girl haha)
honestly it wasn’t as hard as i thought it would be. i just tried my best to remain calm and bear down so i wouldn’t have to do a lot of poking and prodding.
i do use two fingers to pinch the base to break the seal. then i just gently pull down until it comes out. my first time i was scared, so i did get someone to help me. remember to breathe and move slowly
@@RAWF1ZZLE thank you for your response! Girl idk how you do it with nails! I barely could pull it with my numbs 😂. But once I got it out, I was impressed with how well it worked and seeing what was in the cup and how it captured it all 😳! I almost gave up but like u said, it has no where to go so it had to come out!
the best cup for you depends on your anatomy & flow needs. I recommend viewing the subreddit r/menstrual cups for more information. I plan on making an updated video that's more in depth about finding one that works soon!

Provide more details how you got it out and what helped in those 30 min cuz I’m struggling currently to get it out.
how did you master it with nails tho? does relaxing & pushing help when removing it?

I regret my saalt buy but I needed size 2 n not size 1 but I’ll see how it goes
Insightful. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
Did you use 2 fingers to pull the stem or the base? I can’t get this out! Ahhh I’m gonna have to get assistance

So you just leave it in the entire cycle?
Nooooo!!! Empty the cup and rinse with a menstrual cup wash every 12 hours maximum, or when it’s full.
@@jaykelly9778 ok that’s what I thought 😂
