- Hey Guys! Im almost done planting an area that is north west of my house that gets morning sun and afternoon shade. (4-6) hours of Sunlight. I discovered Petticoats last year and they are gorgeous intermingled with Coral Bells (Huechera). I still need to plant a few more coral bells, but I had to share this beautiful combination of plants. The Mondo Grass is a shade grass, but can handle part shade. It adds another dimension of texture and color to give this flowerbed a dramatic display of color and interest all gardening season with great ease. I hope you liked these plant highlights. A client just divided her peach geum and gave me a hunk. So pretty and they make great cut flowers.
I didn’t know about the cutting. Thanks
Love the combo of heuchera & geum! Need to get my hands on that apricot colour, I have red geum at the moment but that one you have is stunning. And I wish I could plant black mondo grass but my zone probably won’t work for that beauty. Thanks for sharing 👩🏽🌾🌼
Hello. Thanks. I hope all is well
Hi! I recently found you channel and it’s been fun to watch your videos! I live in Northern Utah too and you’ve given me some great ideas. Do you happen to know the variety name of your geum? I love that color combo!
I’m pretty sure it’s forever red! Not one hundred percent. There are so many red Heuchera’s out there any of them would look good.
It's pronounced jee-umm.
Good to know
