    Great video Dave. Very informative and straight to the point. I tailmount my Redtailed Hawk every year. Orly ever lost a deck feather once in 16 years in the very situation that you mentioned, when the bird got tangled up on a fence wire. Great to see the Chilean Blue being worked on. I'm very tempted to give one a go in the future. Keep up the great work.

      Nice one! If you live in hills the Chilean would
      Make a great hunting bird ! Ours takes crows in the air , pheasants , rabbits and crows on the ground from soaring ; all on experience days when it’s not meant to hunt !

    It would be nice to see 1. An accomplished Hood maker with tutorial on making a hood with all materials used. 2. Tutorial on Imping with tail and primary feathers.Making basic furniture, anklets,jesses, leashes and Bewits. 3.many people would like to braid their own furniture maybe someone could give a tutorial on how and what to use. 4.someone that could give a demonstration on how to fit a track pack on their bird, do’s and don’ts. 5.popular now is lamping, someone that could give information on how to start and what birds most suited, I’m sure Kyle has enough knowledge. 6. Now that Vowley is up and running some would like to know how to train and know what falcons are suitable to fly.
    These are a few subjects that are not generally touched upon when visiting Game fairs.

    Super comments Dave, especially the cautionary notes towards the end.

    I used the plectrum system first season , got ripped out, we reattached and then end of season broke both decks, are permissions are heavy brambles and wooded.
    Now I use the tail clip, nice and easy, although I did use super gel, I will try the 2 pack glue this year.
    Dave are the tail clips tools colour coded how can you know which one to order when ordering.
    Super video 👍

    Can you tail mount the Microsensory units like Kyles Dave?

    • @falconry.davesharpenatureboy
      @falconry.davesharpenatureboy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they’re not actually that heavy and tbh on lanner size birds we’ve used them in one farther without issue

      @@falconry.davesharpenatureboy Cheers I haven't got mine yet as other financial commitments keep getting in the way (bloomin building costs !) so still on the old clock work telemetry Good to hear they are ok for tail mounts as tbh I prefer them less fussing about I feel.
