Altho... the theme might get to cluttered if not done right.
I speculated it, its actually not spamtons theme referencing jevils theme, but its another motif that is in jevils theme, but it just happens to be the first time you hear it.

Finally a secret boss theme which is actually dark and sad, not just silly or insane. I also love the glitchy effects, they fit kinda perfectly with the whole idea of secret bosses. And a tortured artist type of character seems like a pretty obvious idea for deltarune, although I don't think I've seen anyone work with it that much.
In short, this is a banger.
Perhaps spamton's theme doesn't fit very much with the whole thing, in my opinion, but it doesn't ruin the song for me

I feel like people take secret bosses a little to chaotic or differently, we have seen the style of Jevil and Spamton, it feels both regular, fun, and also has a sick theme. Though people make weirdest designs and background for each boss fight, we may have forgotten that if Jevil had spinning and Spamton NEO had riding, we will need either going up or down on something or any other type of constant moving.
Imagine if we get a fight in willy wonka's elevator

then we have mike's big showdown, where kris manages to fall hundreds of thousands of feet and land completely unaffected.

i played yesterday and i havae just 2 suggestions:
1: make skraty both green and red souls attacks slightly slower
and
2: make green power charge a bit faster

Pretty cool character, what's their backstory?
By looking at the thumbnail on the bilibili video (I can’t find it now) it seems like the character was an artist and their drawings got rejected a lot so the character went insane (hence the strings and the freedom motif) and he drew a ISOLATED HEAVEN all for himself. In the first video in the channel with the very early fangame his name is Easel, a reference to one of Spamton’s dialogues in his shop.
Edit: Jeez, I just wrote a comment about the summary of this secret boss, how did this get so many likes?

the whole song is pretty cool but then there's the NYCTBA part and it's just... weird, and not in a "secret boss quirkiness" way, it's just awkward but overall it's very good

hmm... my only complaint is the Freedom leitmotif's notes have a noticeable contrast with the main melody; in a way that doesnt match the song.

@@basicaIIymyseIf intentional or not, lack of matching can harm a track. while designs and concepts are two things that draw people into these vids, music is the third and final thing.
i still applaud the efforts put into the track, but there's always room for improvement.
That's beacuse it's in a major key and everything else is in minor

The background is cool, the music is good! I think the character could do with some more colour though, doesn’t really suit the background or music.
*but! TO Any of you FUCKERS BEFORE YOU 🤓ME* I really like he concept. Something abstract about it, would fit into deltarune! I also feel the use of the world is revolving motif later in the song doesn’t really fit. It’s a cool callback but not really implemented well..

@@ivythay4259 Another reason is we didn't have any melodies to use, and in order to make the music fit the original style, so this is done

Some of the worst fanmade content i've ever seen for deltarune. The mixing is horrible, the song itself has the Spamton A leitmotif for no fucking reason, several notes are off-beat, the freedom motif switches keys several times, and don't even get me started on the background, or the secret boss's design itself. It's just Spamton Neo 2 with a significantly lazier design, and the background makes no coherent sense. Utter dogwash overall.
Not to mention how it jumps between different parts so jarringly. It doesn’t sound smooth at all.
Also, the “freedom motif” is ripped from BIG SHOT with practically no melodic difference apart from a different key and instrument.
Edit: Well, it changes later on, but the carbon copy of BIG SHOT is still there nonetheless.
Also also, the Spamton motif is there due to the creator’s lack of original melody ideas. It’s there because of LAZINESS.
