With suspension and lower control arms with adjustable brackets, you will prevent the rear from squating so much and really lower your times. A line lock would help also. Not only is line lock good for burnouts, it is also very helpful in launching a rwd stick car. You can preload the clutch with the line lock on and simply let the line lock off and get off the clutch in one motion when the light comes on.

Would love to see all the upgrades and specifics of everything including rim and tire combo. I have a 96 firebird with a built lt1 that’s a 383 strocker now and built transmission, it’s stupid fast for now but can not get it to hook up so I have no idea what E.T.s I can run. Looking for good suggestions

My opti spark was 28 years old before I replaced it. I also replaced the fuel pump at the same time but I didn’t cut on my car I did it the right way. Then again I am a professional automotive technician so I don’t believe in hacking things!

these cars like to squat in the back with the bug stance you loose all your caster in the front end and you loose alot of the torqure arms functionality

Fuel pump for these cars are made like complete crap anymore. Even the AC Delco ones are, I replaced mine with one of those and it lasted less than 3,000 mi. ... Very frustrating
