Wagner iSpray valve mechanism disassembly

A brief demonstration of how to disassemble the valve/trigger mechanism of the Wagner iSpray HVLP paint sprayer nozzle. This information is not covered in Wagner’s documentation and I couldn’t find it anywhere else online.

Excellent video! I used my Flexio 590 5 or 6 times with excellent results, but my last project was plagued by splattering and uneven spray patterns. I followed these instructions and removed a 4 inch piece of dried paint from the hole were the nozzle sits. Here's hoping that's the cause!

Definitely because it only takes one time for paint to dry in there and then each time you use it after that it simply builds up like a clog in a drain

Thanks for the video! I noticed the trigger of the "brilliant" wood/metal sprayer attachment a bit, so thought I would try it.
There's an even easier way tho: if you leave the nut with the nozzle and air cap attached to the gun, the needle is already pushed in a little bit, just push out the pin (trigger doesn't even need to come off) and carefully unscrew the nut, pull out the air cap and nozzle, and you're good to go!

Very helpful video. I really like this sprayer but it’s spitting really bad now. I will take it apart as you demonstrated and clean it up. The only other theory I have is that I damaged the white tip picking paint clogs out. I know that is not how to do it but shortcuts are created where wife nagging and college football kickoff intersects 😬.

Fantastic - video could have been called deep inner secrets revealed! I own this and the other spray gun that came with my wagner kit the one with the vacuum cleaner base & hose. I was wondering about removing the plastic "needle" they way I can on my metal HVLP sprayers that run off of compressed air.

Run detergent with water then just water at end and you can save last step.

Is there any way to get the trigger seal? Unfortunately that's where it leaks paint from. The other seal I did manage to buy on amazon but it does not correct the spill on the trigger.

Thank you in advance for your nice video and explanation.
I have additional question, and hopefully you can help me with this.
From the moment I connect Ispray Wagner to the external motor, he immediately starts spraying, I have already tried turning the knob with the lever, but nothing helps. Just did the test with just holding the Ispray under the tap, and running water and the tube, but still, the water runs through the nozzle. Do you have any explanation for this or any advice please? kind regards
