Wow, this book review was profound! I'll be coming back to it over and over again. Here are just a few awesome take-aways: 1. Create a constitutional UNFLAPPABILITY about yourself! "Real success is going from failure, to failure, to failure... without loss of enthusiasm." Walt Disney had the emotional fortitude to face relentless and seemingly divinely placed difficulties. 2. Become the GOLD STANDARD! When things went wrong for Walt Disney, he always returned to one thing - Make the product EXTRAORDINARY! 3. Know what SCALE you're playing on! Walt Disney said he didn't want to be the best animator, he wanted to be the KING of ANIMATION. Do you want to be the best at a decision or do you want to DEFINE the art form itself? 4. Be OBSESSED with quality, and doing something grand that no one else can do! Walt Disney didn't care about making money, he wanted to make something he was PROUD of, and have FUN doing it. 5. Have a GROWTH mindset. You may not be good enough or capable of doing something, but you can BECOME capable. 6. PARTNER with amazing people who can COMPLIMENT your skillset. Roy Disney, Walt's brother, was detrimental to Disney's success. While Walt was the visionary, Roy took care of the operations to make everything come together. 7. Have the "ARROGANCE of BELIEF" to know in your gut that you can figure it out; that given enough time, you will win! Thank you Tom, Lisa, and Impact Theory team for yet again blowing my f'n mind! I can't wait to hear part 2 of this book review! 😆💪🏽
You blew me away with this one Tom. You could do an hour long piece of content about what you learned from the book and I wouldn't hesitate to watch it, it's refreshing to listen to your take about the book. Thank you for the effort you guys put into creating IT, really.
I can already tell that this video is "THAT" video that I'll be coming back to time and time again to evoke my imagination and action forward to new, untapped ground. Thank you so much, Tom (and Lisa, Cindy, Agent Smith & Co)!
I got the goosebumps when you said on which scale are you playing? Thats it! Envision yourself at the greatest level and goooo there every second of the freakin day!
I'm "reading" Lewis Howes School of Greatness. Loving it!!! Disney is next!! I Love all the Magic you talk about I Feel My Brain Expanding with every video!! I also have two friends I am influencing. You are spreading like WildFire!! Thank you for your efforts!!
Sorry man and don’t mean to a be downer but it’s probably not the best idea to review a book you haven’t fully finished. It doesn’t do justice to the book, to the author and your audience. Thank you for doing this review nonetheless
