    Are the spikes made from one classic lash in a longer length or are the spikes made from volume lashes?

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! In this set, we didn't add spikes, but rather 11mm throughout the eye so that it could add the effect of different lengths throughout the eye and a wispy effect. Since our mapping included lengths 6, 8, 10, 12 & 15, no matter where we placed the 11mm, it would be different than whatever length was next to it, creating the wispy effect. Hope that makes sense!

  • @ajimenez2188
    @ajimenez2188 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hi! How many 11mm lengths did you put across the eye to make the wisps? How do you know when there is enough to achieve that wispy look? Thank you!

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe around 10 or so around the eye where I could find room. You can tell while the eye is closed once you start noticing the wispy affect! Just takes a bit of time to find the best option

    Could you please share how many lashes you use per person, in your videos, in the different lash types of possible..... it'll be interesting to know how many lashes you use for a full set vs in fill, per client 😊
    And interesting to know for when I'm looking at purchasing your products, to estimate how much i need.
    Is there a rule of thumb as to how many lashes is used per client?
    Thank you. Love your videos!!

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I don't really count the lashes, it is just based on how many lashes the client naturally has! You just want to try and apply to all of the lashes if possible! I would recommend starting off with a couple mixed trays then move on to getting single trays of the lengths you use most often!

    U usually say to not skip more than 1 size up. But you went from 12mm to 15mm. Does this rule go out the window when it comes to the cat eye look?
    Thank u.
    Love ur vidz. Learning so much!!

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for watching! I typically don't skip more than 1mm in between the lengths but sometimes I do like to break my own rules to test stuff out hahaa. However, with her eyes, I probably won't go as long as 15mm next time or I will do more of a tapered cat eye because the length did kind of make her outer corners droop a bit. The fun part about lashing is experimenting with the lengths and styles from time to time!

    Hello, do you apply the extension on top of the natural lash or on the side?

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends! For classic typically on top and for volume typically underneath, but because people's lashes are different you can accommodate by applying on the side or underneath as needed!

    Hey Yegi! Quick question. I thought ellipse lashes were only made to adhere to the bottom or top. So it’s ok to place on the side?

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  5 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say it matters more on your eye shape rather than your actual lashes!
      If your eyes are naturally more raised on the outer edges, I would say yes! If your eyes are more downward on the outer edges, then I would say you should go for more of a doll eye or tapered cat eye since this look may make eyes look more droopy. hope this makes sense and helps!

  • @keidygarcia1130
    @keidygarcia1130 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    She has like a downward eyes right?and the best option for this is open eye?

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! After we did this set, the cat eye didn't really do her eyes justice, but since she likes the cat eye look for the next fill we did a tapered cat eye where it starts getting longer on the outer corners but towards the very ends I actually start going shorter to avoid adding super long lengths at the end. If I had a choice, I would definitely do a doll eye on her though!

    Loved this video! Hopefully this isn’t a confusing or crazy question but how do you know that you’re making sure each eye is identical since you used different size lashes like how do you remember “oh I used size 0.8” on the inner corner on the left eye”? (Hopefully that made sense) lol.

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! Obviously we can't count the lashes and make sure that the 16th lash on each eye has a 12mm or anything like that so it is important to have a general mapping plan so that you can create the eyes to be as identical as possible! You can have certain points that you work with to kind of coordinate, like placing the longest lash on the very curved part of the eyelid in the center or anything like that! Hope that helps!
