I was thinking here, maybe Koji didn't want to teach Boruto how to use the ootsutsuki's space-time ninjutsu to prevent him from being able to access the ootsutuski's main universe? That's why he invented the excuse that it was "impossible to reproduce space-time ninjutsu" since Boruto is already a complete ootsutsuki and should be able to do that.

I have no hope for Ikemoto writing to follow through with this theory. Kishimoto and Kodachi was working together early in the anime and they were definitely cooking with Sumire, Nue Toneri, Jogan, Hyuga Clan, and even Urashiki with the dragon palace and Main Family of the Ootsutski but now everything seems to be scrapped out after Ikemoto took over and have drifted away with their initial plan in the manga as well such as the Byakugou plotpoints. I wouldn't be surprised that's what got Kodachi fired due to the disagreement that was floating around and also why Kishi eventually gave up everything to Ikemoto and become a regular spectator reader like us not knowing what Ikemoto intend to do with the story path.

Do you think characters from naruto will have some connection to this storyline, like we have many characters that are mysterious. Like the wood style is connected to the otsutsuki, the edo tensei is basically more of a shinjutsu then ninjutsu, another think is that I was surprised that Tobirama senju was aware of shadow and light style jutsus which were possessed by hagoromo and Tobirama can’t read the uchiha stone tablet. I think you are on the right path, but Kishimoto is always altering the tales of his sources when he makes Naruto. I think that Boruto is Shibai's reincarnate, but this goes into more depth in my theory. First: Boruto has chakra from Naruto, and Hinata, that are direct descendants from the Otsutsuki. Naruto has Hashirama Cells, has his Uzumaki bloodline, and got chakra from Hagoromo. Hinata is a Hyuuga branch on earth, and got chakra from Toneri, and Hamura. In essence Boruto has all the right stuff to be mostly Otsutsuki to begin with, and Karma was easy to implant, and evolve much faster than with Kawaki. Second: Momoshiki was so eager to take Boruto over for some odd reason, even by sacrificing himself to save Boruto, which was selfless for an Otsutsuki (you can argue that he wanted to live, but that's not that true, because he could not ressurect by doing that). So what is the reasoning? Well, my theory kicks in: We know that Shibai ascended to god-hood and left his body behind, but how can he reincarnate, and why? Well, what if Shibai figured out that all he did was in vain? What if Kaguya knew that her parents were the ones evil? We know Kaguya was no low level Otsutsuki, and she was being called "princess" All Otsutsuki have the "shiki" in the name: Momo-shiki I-shiki Ura-shiki And so on... The only known Otsutsuki without that "shiki" in the name that I know are: Kaguya Shibai We know that Ishiki was a high ranking Otsutsuki, and Momoshiki was high ranking aswel, but why end in "Shiki"? If you would say that Urashiki and Kinshiki were low level partners, meant for sacrifices (as stated in the manga and lore) why still keep the "shiki"? Kaguya was high ranking, maybe even Shibai's partner, coming from a royal blood, or 2 different families, one finding out that Otsutsuki's were evil, and coming back to mend the evil, and one trying to actively prevent the evil (kaguya, but she went mad from chakra's power). There is another theory that the ten tails are the original Otsutsuki's raw form, and stripped of their humanity and judgement, so Otsutsuki's use them for harvesting. Now in Boruto ten tails is sentient, and begin to evolve (maybe evolve back into Otsutsuki's true form).

Nice theory but I feel as though it'd kill the story and delegitimise Boruto as a character, I've never been a fan of this reincarnate stuff, as it takes away from the individuality of the characters, it would be nice for Boruto to just be Boruto, no reincarnation of anybody, so we can all recognise him as purely himself and have no other character associated with his strength, and even if that's already the case, It's not as bad in the case of Momoshiki

Do you think characters from naruto will have some connection to this storyline, like we have many characters that are mysterious. Like the wood style is connected to the otsutsuki, the edo tensei is basically more of a shinjutsu then ninjutsu, another think is that I was surprised that Tobirama senju was aware of shadow and light style jutsus which were possessed by hagoromo and Tobirama can’t read the uchiha stone tablet. There are so many mysterious like, the uzumaki and their sealing jutsu, shisui uchiha broken sharingan, the mysterious disease that naruto, hagoromo and itachi had, I just hope their is a deeper connection.

I think you are on the right path, but Kishimoto is always altering the tales of his sources when he makes Naruto.
I think that Boruto is Shibai's reincarnate, but this goes into more depth in my theory.
First:
Boruto has chakra from Naruto, and Hinata, that are direct descendants from the Otsutsuki.
Naruto has Hashirama Cells, has his Uzumaki bloodline, and got chakra from Hagoromo.
Hinata is a Hyuuga branch on earth, and got chakra from Toneri, and Hamura.
In essence Boruto has all the right stuff to be mostly Otsutsuki to begin with, and Karma was easy to implant, and evolve much faster than with Kawaki.
Second:
Momoshiki was so eager to take Boruto over for some odd reason, even by sacrificing himself to save Boruto, which was selfless for an Otsutsuki (you can argue that he wanted to live, but that's not that true, because he could not ressurect by doing that).
So what is the reasoning?
Well, my theory kicks in:
We know that Shibai ascended to god-hood and left his body behind, but how can he reincarnate, and why?
Well, what if Shibai figured out that all he did was in vain?
What if Kaguya knew that her parents were the ones evil?
We know Kaguya was no low level Otsutsuki, and she was being called "princess"
All Otsutsuki have the "shiki" in the name:
Momo-shiki
I-shiki
Ura-shiki
And so on...
The only known Otsutsuki without that "shiki" in the name that I know are:
Kaguya
Shibai
We know that Ishiki was a high ranking Otsutsuki, and Momoshiki was high ranking aswel, but why end in "Shiki"?
If you would say that Urashiki and Kinshiki were low level partners, meant for sacrifices (as stated in the manga and lore) why still keep the "shiki"?
Kaguya was high ranking, maybe even Shibai's partner, coming from a royal blood, or 2 different families, one finding out that Otsutsuki's were evil, and coming back to mend the evil, and one trying to actively prevent the evil (kaguya, but she went mad from chakra's power).
There is another theory that the ten tails are the original Otsutsuki's raw form, and stripped of their humanity and judgement, so Otsutsuki's use them for harvesting.
Now in Boruto ten tails is sentient, and begin to evolve (maybe evolve back into Otsutsuki's true form).

Nice theory but I feel as though it'd kill the story and delegitimise Boruto as a character, I've never been a fan of this reincarnate stuff, as it takes away from the individuality of the characters, it would be nice for Boruto to just be Boruto, no reincarnation of anybody, so we can all recognise him as purely himself and have no other character associated with his strength, and even if that's already the case, It's not as bad in the case of Momoshiki
i dont think it would since its established that reincarnates are not beholden to their past self, the same way Naruto wasnt. I do understand if you'd rather that not happen tho
@@Kidomaki I just think it would be good for boruto to hold onto at least some human potential, making him an otsutsukified vessel of Momoshiki then the reincarnate of a gods father just blows it out of proportion if you ask me, I think there's nothing better than a character without all those variables instilled in them, earning their power and obtaining it through alternate means, and the path that they've set boruto on now in terms of having him train hard and prove himself as Naruto's son is perfect narratively
