- Boruto revealed its Next villain, and her name is Akebi Otsutsuki. You see, this has been a long time coming, ever since amado explained his plan to resurrect his daughter. She died from an illness over 15 years ago, the same year that boruto was born. Now, that detail is really important but we’ll circle back to it in a bit. You see, chapter 18 explained his plan in detail.. He goes on to say that he created a fresh body for Akebi to inhabit, which he calls a resurrection vessel. All he needs is for kawaki to implant this vessel with karma, which now possess Akebi’s data. Now, what’s interesting here is what he goes on to say next, which is that he failed at re-creating her soul, and that’s because it’s an act permitted only to GODS. The key take away from this is the word “create”, which puts Amado’s true plan into perspective.
