By using this link, YOU receive the item from Amazon and WE receive a small commission because of your purchase. Thank you for supporting our family's channel! amzn.to/3Hlex4y
This is so much fun and so cozy. I suddenly want to go back to my childhood, at least for a day or two. To go sledding with the other kids in the neighborhood, throw snowballs and build a snow fort. And then my mom would brush the snow off of my coat and I would sit down to eat a bowl of hot soup. Memories...
And Janice I wish you would do more videos like this over the grocery videos maybe your grocery videos do good but to me it's so much more interesting just to see everyday stuff your family does the kids playing in the snow kids washing dishes just everyday life kids playing games just stuff like that I wish you would keep showing stuff like that show little recipes maybe show what Anna other recipes the other kids can do like Andrew David Sam just I think that would be really good for your channel just to show everyday stuff kids folding clothes people love to see just the basic things you'd be surprised and showing them doing chores again feeding the animals is neverboring thank you so much Lisa sharing life stories with you all my love God bless
Hey yall, AWESOME content, I enjoyed everything. Rebecca was really enjoying buttering the brownie pan. Sarayour homemade icecream looked delicious. My mother-in-law made ice cream from the snow. Shawn and the egg was so funny. All of you are so loving sweet people.❤😊🙏 I love the animals. Sis. Ruby
I’m glad you had fun with the snow even though it made animal chores more difficult! My princess of a dog hates the cold and snow but she’s not built for it either she’s a bull terrier we rescued! It’s been really cold and snowy in the Chicagoland area we got more snow last night and it’s currently 7F real feel -10F and going to get down to -1F tonight! Tomorrow goes down to -12F!! BRRR!
What a beautiful video...i could not imagine living in all that snow ..you guys have everything sorted ..Animals are taken care of ..You are all beautiful people...God Bless you all ❤
I love these DITL videos, they’re one of my fav. I love snow but we don’t get to see it much here in the UK. I’d probably have a different view if I had to homestead in it though 🤣
Timothy, thank you so, so very much for blessing us like this! I'm thinking you also gifted us with something on Paypal as well, so thank you for being so generous to our family. We sure do appreciate you and your generosity! :)
Ozark Family Homestead, this winter snow and days of freezing Temps is the longest we have seen since our moving here in Tennessee since 1987. Warm South seems good, but we will stay. We left a hurricane climate. I enjoyed your video. GOD provided snow for snow cream. I can't get to the mailbox, and the letter carrier hasn't driven in the snow to leave a rut. I shoveled and raked half my deck and steps before it becomes ice. I threw one softball size snowball😊
I like Sean that he explained thank you Sean he explained that you guys are not used to that I didn't know that now in Michigan it was just horrible we lost power and half of our house for like almost one day my truck window broke cost $4,500 it's still not fixed yet my husband's going to fix it on Tuesday January 23rd or whatever 22nd he just got back out of town from Texas he was working on some race cars in Texas and I didn't know you guys are not used to that it was 30 below in Michigan just horrible I took two stray cats I don't know if I'm ever going to let them back outside again I might keep them inside they're doing so good I just love them I wish I could help everybody but I was nice that Sean told us about your weather cuz I didn't know that about your weather that you're not used to cold like that and we're not really used to that cold 30 below in Michigan that's quite Kohl's I mean it gets cold in Michigan but that was pretty extreme that's Alaska called so we've all suffered through this last storm all the states pretty Lisa sharing life stories with you guys God bless you guys and I just this is the kind of videos you really should be doing the grocery videos are okay but these are so much better we like to see the kids full clothes wash dogs feed animals Sean doing work in the yard just Janice doing cooking in the kitchen and I could do some cooking videos Sam Andrew it's just really good
That was a fun video! Thanks for sharing! Yours, Mine, and Ours is my most favorite movie of all time. I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it! Hope you all liked it! By the way, we had 19” of snow here in Idaho!
Snow ice cream. Only need one can of sweetened evaporated milk for a giant batch of ice cream. If you use milk with maple syrup you won't need as much sweetener added. At any rate. The trick to snow ice cream is to make it up quick and eat it right away. It loses quality fairly quickly. Another thing you can do with clean snow is make maple candy. You find a nice batch of clean snow outside and drop maple syrup in it, let it harden and eat!
I love how you just say..."We will just go together"...That is what it is all about, right there! The homestead looks so differnt with snow on the ground! Great to see the other deck almost done on the summer kitchen! So much progress being made! Shawn, it's a lot of work to keep the water not frozen for the animals! I bet not a lot of people knew that it was an every 2hr deal to make sure the animals can have access to water. It would be interesting to see a collab between you guys and another homesteading family up north and what the different strategies were to keep everything functioning in the winter, I am sure there are big differences when snow storms are predicted Fun to see the kids sledding! Snow ice cream sounds like so much fun!! I wouldn't worry about the snow collection, we all come into contact with much worse things on a daily basis and it doesn't kill us!! People are entirely toooooooo freaked out about this stuff. I clean several dirty toilets each and everyday and I get a cold maybe every 5 or 6 years...germs help to build your immunity! If you limit your exposure to germs you will get sick more often! Sarah, maybe you should stick the other ingredients for the snow ice cream outside to get cold too and not have to worry about them melting the snow! I love Sarah's coat, looks great on her!! It's amazing how much you do in a day, Janice!
I live in Midland, Mi. This is the home of Dow Chemical and Dow Corning...so we didn't eat much of our snow. Drats! What a fun video! I will rewatch it. Big Hugs and Love. 😍😘🤗 Susan
Thank you for sharing a day in the life of your family. I got a good laugh out of Rebekah. She is so cute. You, Janice, even made me laugh. Once again, thank you for sharing of a day in the life of your beautiful family.
Wow, you really did get some snow. we hardly got any. it snowed two days but it amounted to pretty much nothing to speak of. It wasn't even enough to make a snowball or snowman. right now it's 41 degrees here at 2:13pm. I totally love your family, Everyone in the family is so interesting in their own way. I'm so excited, I finished my Spanish Course that I had purchased two years ago. I studied everyday, I didn't miss one day at all. I got my certificate also. yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been studying German and Spanish the same amount of time, 8 years almost nine years and two years ago I purchased an advanced course. Now that I've finished my course, I'm on to a new one which I started yesterday also Spanish more involved than the last one and the same three professors. I love Anna's blue face hat, it's so cute. Sarah's hair is so pretty and long and Anna's too. My grandmother had hair down to the floor, it would have dragged the floor but we kept it trimmed just to her ankle so she didn't trip over it. We never cut it except to trim ,so we helped her wash it too she was a sweetheart. Yours Mine and Ours was a good movie. Did you enjoy it? Thank you for sharing your snow day at the homestead, it was fun. Peace and love to everyone❤
We had some ice and snow this go around. It's rare for southeast arkansas. My neighbor has sheep and the same kind of dogs you have. I noticed yesterday they were laying against the fence on the snow. They are made for cold weather for sure.
-20 below wind chill in MN. I walked out my front door and a rabbit ran in front of me. They are created to survive frigid weather. Don’t let them get too toasty warm or they won’t acclimate to the cold once you put them in the shed again.
Great job Sarah and Anna! What fun! My sister and I were reminiscing today that on snowy days, our mom always made noodles. She would hang them everywhere around the house to dry. Precious memories!
So much snow ! We don’t get this in the UK I know you have heat lamps but I couldn’t leave the dogs outside Not sure if this is the norm for where you live but here in the UK they stay indoors with us
