here some tips work for me. first turn off your connect to internet on ps4. second you turn off your ps4 after that you turn off you router wait for a few minutes after that you turn on your router and ps4. go to network turn on connect to internet and test the internet connection and it worked

** A POSSIBLE FIX ** I was having the problem where everything in my house connected to the Wi-Fi, EXCEPT my PS4. It would say "Cannot connect to the WiFi in the time" . So I clicked the initialisation action at the bottom of settings (you might no need to do this). I connected my PS4 to my hotspot on my mobile phone, it connected, then I changed to my home network and it worked straight away! Worth a shot!
Guys for those who couldn't solve the issue, TRY TO RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS, go to the ps4 settings, scroll all the way down and select: Initialization > Restore Default Settings, if it ask you a passcode, put the defeault "0000" passcode and restore your PS4, only your settings will ber restored, all your other data will be safe, you'll also need to restart your router, you will need to connect your controller with the usb cable to start your initial configuration, thats what worked for me, i hope i can help someone else...
Everyone one thing that will help which helped me is getting a WiFi extender and plugging a Ethernet cable into it and connecting it to your PS4 I know you have a cable running through the house but it should be fine at least temporarily and make sure to put the extender between your router and PS4 like right in the middle for best results

My PS4 won’t get an IP Address. There is nothing wrong with my WiFi, since all my other devices work just fine. So I am not sure what to do, since I have tried reentering the WiFi multiple times, resetting my PS4 and turning it off and on again.
Mine just says "Cannot connect to the internet. Your internet service provider or your router might be preventing the Ps4 from connecting to the internet. Make sure you can connect to the internet via the same network as the Ps4 by testing the connection using your PC or smartphone."

for all people that have that i found the solution u have to go to settings and uncheck the connect to internet checkbox then unplug your router for 2mins then plug it back then check the box and it works again
Ok so I asked someone and they said to go to user guide then go to the thing with the + looking sign and it should take you to the xfinity sign in page. Hope this helps. It worked for me.
