This video shows you how to install a transmission oil pan on your 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8. If an oil pan is leaking from damage, rust, or wear, or is otherwise damaged, you'll need to replace it. The oil pan collects and holds the transmission's oil pool, which is an important job.
This repair was done on a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Haynes manual says final torque on the transmission pan bolts is 144 in lbs
