    I tried on this watch a few weeks ago and I found that on my skinny wrist it actually did not seem top-heavy or too tall, which was somewhat surprising. It felt very similar to my Longines Hydroconquest. This might have something to do with the fact that my left wrist is very flat on the top, allowing the watch to kind of settle in. People with more rounded wrists (like the reviewer) probably won't experience the watch this way.
    Oh, and I loved the watch! Same colorway as this one. It's definitely on my list. (I just have to finish digesting my last purchase...)

    Oris was founded in 1904 not 1924

    I've had mine for over a year an love it. Accuracy is great at + a few seconds per day. The dial is incredible but I have to agree that the AR coating could be better. The bracelet is super comfortable as well. The date at 6 is the cherry on the top of the cake.

    I have the same in 43.5mm size and it is a fantastic watch.

    400¹²³ .. The calibre that will prove all other calibres obsolete - mark my words :)

    The green on that dial is just love at first sight for me 😍
    Really beautiful looking watch overall. Date relief is my favourite Aquis (wonderful bezel design imo), but such a shame this particular green is not available on that model (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
    Considering the red dial version of that one though - haven't gotten to see it in real life yet, but it looks almost at stunning as this green in every review I've seen. 🙂

    Good review, thanks for posting. Don’t think it ‘officially’ qualifies as a pro dive watch as there are no minute markings.

    Would Caliber 400 be a good daily wearer? I currently have a 39mm Hydroconquest but I want something different (more modern diver) alike Aquis... plus I hate the large arabic numerals on Hydroconquest 😂 and the clasp

      For a daily wearer you might as well pick the Sellita version. If you wear it daily it will stay wound. No need paying more for 120 hour power reserve 👍

      They're a good brand. I have the normal Aquis rather than this one and it's a great watch for the money. I also have a divers 65 which is a lovely retro styled piece.

    i'm sure the cal 400 is worth the money, but when they still offer the aquis with options, folks are going to pick the cheaper selita almost every time.

      @@NickRoyGregor agreed I have a watch with a powermatic 80 hour reserve and I would pay the extra to have 5 days instead of the 38 hours of selita

    Nice watch but I dont like the green dial. Green will date very quickly in my view.

      @@TimeAndCrown Oris holder hundrede. Har pt et Prodiver (gammel versiom), et Big Crown Propilot day date på sort kanvas rem og et limited edition big crown Swiss Hunter Team PS edition, og havde et Divers 65 med en lækker hvid skive engang. Elsker Oris.

    Only worth if you can buy it for max 2K because retail price is not worth it. For the retail price you can buy a Tudor or Omega.

    • @UncleSkiBum
      @UncleSkiBum ปีที่แล้ว

      Here in UK can be picked up for around £2k which is at least £1500 cheaper than Tudor which is a great price imho

    • @dorningarts
      @dorningarts ปีที่แล้ว +7

      What Tudor or Omega go for $3500? Please let me know, because the cheapest I can find is about $4500 for Tudor and $5500 for Omega. And do not mention a "used" Tudor or Omega
