WOW. Absolutely gob smacked with her actions and to take a child across with her as well when lights were Red and warning alarms on. Thank you for posting. Hopefully it will teach those that might consider a dash across when the barriers are about to come down.
Yeah but also think about it the driver didn’t even raise the barriers for her the driver just drove off without a cafe in the world and could have injured her
*WARNING: don't even dare to pass the barriers when the crossing activates or else **4:02** might happen to you as well!* That was a "Public Information Film" (at least misuses doesn't happen as often in Italy but there level crossings closes even *7 minutes* before the train passes the crossing)
IT was that woman's own fault - she should be prosecuted by BTP. She put her own safety, the safety of the child and the safety of rail operations at risk. Mind you - gold star for the run despite the walking stick alleged disablement!
The audacity that lady had to tell her daughter off is crazy. That was her action and her action only. She towed the child with her. Thats the ladys faukt
Unbelievable, Especially with a child! They should of raised the barriers for her instead of driving off, what if she fell back or something. I mean she should of not misused it anyway.
@@garyhawkins-piano-teacher This is Barmouth South TMO crossing (TainMan Operated aka Traincrew Operated). So in answer to your question, this universe.
@@garyhawkins-piano-teacher Normally it would be a signaller or a crossing keeper you're right and in far happier days there was a lovely little signal box at Barmouth South. TMO crossings are uncommon, but not unheard of. And indeed they are operated by the train crew (which could be the guard) "or other peripatetic railway staff". But in this case it is definitely the driver and in fact there are other videos on this channel showing the driver pulling the chord to lower the barriers. I think raising them is a bit more of a faff and involves getting down from the train, which is perhaps why it wasn't done here, but you can see that in other videos on this channel too
I never knew they had to wait for the signal to turn green cause at my place they close before they even reach the closest signal and Im not saying this for the trains that were at the station

That woman should be prosecuted for that disregard of the warning, the lights and sirens were activated well in advance of her crossing!.

Nope the crossing is driver operated. They pull a wire to lower the crossing and pull again to stop the barriers

4:02 - Never seen that before but great Crossing and Video!👍🏻
How the heck did that happen? Great video either way
"why dont they raise the barriers" , why did she cross with a walking stick and with a child while the red lights were going ?

What the hell
I see how everyone is talking about the misuse but also the driver should have raised the barriers and definitely not proceeded
In what universe does the driver or the train raise the barriers?

@@LUAu101 oh really ? I always thought it was either the guard or signal box - I stand corrected :). Thanks

No, she should have a bit more respect for those who pay her benefits instead of causing them inconvenience.
