- It’s getting close to the end of the quarter and I am in desperate need of some good vibes. I’ve been listening to Gregorian monk chants on Spotify. Help me, lol.
I do confess that I am moving back home for the winter quarter, but nevertheless, I am here to talk about my top ten favorite things about UChicago. Maybe this video will pair very nicely with a “least favorite things” video later on… Anyway, I digress.
UChicago is a crazy challenging, fake Ivy League school. It certainly has its issues. I still love it, though. She’s really got a lot going for her, from the beautiful campus to the random traditions with very nerdy quirks. If you intend to apply to UChicago or already have, I highly suggest you hear more from me. I’m certainly going to share a bit more than The College would *wink wink*.
Here’s the link to my video on all of the RSO (clubs) that I have encountered:

QuestBridge match to UChicago ‘25!! This video has only added to my excitement in potentially coming to campus (🤞🏼) in the fall. Thank you!
Ooooo dang thanks :))) Hope to see you there 😘😜
Wow, congrats! Do u have any advice to share? I’m interested in being a QuestBridge match to UChicago!
I really love watching your ideas, you seem like such a cheerful person, always smiling. ❤
Lovely video !! I got in ED and UChicago was (is) my dream school but I’ve been struggling w impostor syndrome and already getting anxious about the challenges ahead. Your vid really helped me get excited 🥳🥳
Oh yay! More or less everyone at UChicago has imposter syndrome, including myself. You are definitely not alone in that. Get hypeeee :p
I love UChicago so much, applying ED 2. 🥺❤️❤️
Me too :)) lol. ED is the move. I did ED 1 myself. In other words, we're pretty much the same person.
Just got in!!! Love UChicago so much

Class of ‘95 alum here, watching for my daughter who will be Class of ‘25. Helpful video bc much has changed since I attended. One correction: I participated in the primal scream back in 1991 so unless 30 years ago is considered “new”, I’ll take it.
woah! ~ well, first off, that is _so cool_ to be a second-gen student. Second, maybe it took a hiatus? I was told it started up a few years ago... the intrigue, the mystery. 😅
Amazing video
Thanks! Took me a bit of effort to make!
❤️❤️❤️
Cool video, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Hope you enjoyed your grade deflation, whuch came with a side order of crippling student loans.
Me: *trying to watch this*
Internet: NOT TODAY!
I love comments like this
Would a 61 year old disabled Navy veteran fit in as a freshman at Univ of Chicago?
I think there's people within the veterans' program (collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/veterans) that can probably offer a more comprehensive view of what life is like here as a veteran. However, what I will say is that, in my experience, UChicagoans have been super accepting and friendly towards students outside the typical 18-22 age range. I would like to think that everyone is very united in their studies no matter the background or age. :) Hope that helps!
@@ReeseKlemm Thank you, it does. I may visit the campus. I just visited Ave Maria University in Florida.
Lana?
Now feeling even happier to be a part of class of 2025 :)))
I know right! I am already so happy but watching all these videos make me exponentially more excited.
Awww :)) Thanks, guys!! I hope to see y'all around!
Less than a month until decisions
I believe I found out about my decision 12/19, so yea, exactly right! Fingers crossed!
@@ReeseKlemm were you valedictorian and founder and ceo of a fortune 500 company and a professional racecar driver and a multi-time Nobel Prize winner or were you just a decently average smart kid like me? So nervous
I applied EA and I want to get in so bad ahhh
I hope you get in, too!
Watching this to see what I have ahead of me. Got accepted yesterday, 2025 gang 🥳
That was my goal! 🙌🙌 Congrats! Hope to see ya around and feel free to reach out on Instagram with any question you might have :)
