As a dad myself, I love that Sergio is putting himself in the back seat to let his daughter shine, and I mean SHINE in a way that he has helped her achieve personally. They make beautiful music together, but I love the family dynamic most of all. Cheers to everyone involved. You have made the world a better place with your music. Thanks for all of it.
It's not their music but arrangements of someone else creations. They are great at reviving it so far as no one else can even the original artists. Would be nice to hear their creations?!.
The key to good music is everyone having their part to play, and giving others a chance to shine and play their part.

So beautiful to see you playing with your dad - such a precious thing to do, brings tear to my eyes. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more - the incredible talent, or the perfect father/daughter relationship. A fantastic example of how great families could/should be. I've also watched the Shape of my Heart with your dad. Hope you both make some more videos together - it really is quite refreshing in a world where social media seems filled with vanity, materialism and vitriol. People who don't play might not appreciate how difficult it is to play THAT well in-sync with someone else. The places where you played the same thing, your notes were BANG ON together. Playing in a band is hard, but this kind of thing is SO tough because neither of you can hide any mistakes. This was flawless. I'd be so interested to know how many takes this took, and I would love to see how you both react if one of you messes up :-D
When I first started listening, I had to check to see if one of them was using a 12-string. (Nope! "Just" perfect sync.)

I'm in my fifties and don't have kids (yet?), but were I to ever be a father I hope I'd be as focused on their deserved glory as he is on yours.

Okay- SO.... I am totally in love with Gabriella's playing, and watch this channel all the time.
I saw this video in the first 12 hours it was posted, and have watched a hundred times since.
I finally just watched, focused on dad! I know. I'm a moron for not putting in the work to enjoy both sooner! But stick with me here!
I am an awful guitar player. But I pay attention to talent and style and instructors.
I have no idea how I didn't notice before- but WOW, these two!
Both are brilliant, for sure. And obviously Sergio has been a huge influence on his daughter. BUT---
Watch each player for the entire video. It is crazy how varied their playing details are.
Certainly, Gabriella gets her love and talent from Sergio, and again- both are amazing! But watch how much Sergio is an 'economy of motion' player. He is precise. He lets no effort go unheard. Virtually NO movement that does not directly result in sound.
Meanwhile, Gabriella plays with very similar understanding of the piece and the same artistic intent. But her mechanics are much more free. Flowing motion, enjoying the sound and displaying the style.
I have enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy ALL the music and brilliance on this channel. I really hope these two do a few more duets.
I often set this channel as my over-night music when I go to bed. That is how much I respect Gabriella's playing. But the wonder of seeing the similarities AND differences of her and dad is a new joy! So much fun!
