Gabriella is a fingerstyle guitarist born January 12th 1997 in Sweden. She started playing guitar when she was 12 inspired by her Argentinian father who also plays the guitar since he was a child. After a while Gabriella started following different guitarists on TH-cam and learned playing by watching their videos. It was artists like Tommy Emmanuel, Sungha Jung, Andy McKee and Kotaro Oshio which Gabriella met in real life a few years later. She has been a guest artist on their concerts in Sweden and Germany. Gabriella has visited and played in different countries like Germany, Norway, USA, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China. She has been on interviews on TV and radio in Sweden and been interviewed by different Guitar Magazines around the world. Guitar World has several times written about Gabriella because of her videos on TH-cam. Today Gabriella's TH-cam channel has 948 000 subscribers and 175 million views. Gabriella has won the "Young Talents" award in Uppsala International Guitarfestival 2012.

Yeah, I was thinking her style of playing is very instinctive. She just 'knows' where the notes are as she has such a good ear, but of course she practices all the time too, I'm sure.

I like that other video, too, where you show us that sound room with your mics and your guitars (and your father's guitars).
I loved the way you answered that person that asked you If you knew music theory : You said no. That you just practice often. Well , I built a career that lasted many years , and made decent money , and although I tried at different times in my life , never learned to read music, and learned very little music theory . And ,in spite of that , I became very succesful and very well known in the '90 . The point to always remember is this : A person can learn all the music theory she or he wants , the reality is that No amount of music theory will help if the person has no real TALENT. You are either born talented or not. So , you don' t ever worried about anything ; you are obviously very, very talented and you can write songs ,play your guitar , record your own music , bring tons of joy to millions of people just using the amazing talent God gave you. Years back ,I did exactly that. I always had in mind that children learn a language just by talking ; the theory will come years later once they start school. The same can be true for music.
