Most guitarists just wanna show-off what riffs they can play and how fast they can play it, but this is something totally different. This is a masterpiece, I can listen to this on repeat all day long. You can hear the creativity, the hard work, the talent, the thousands of hours he put in to get this good. And another thing that other guitarists lack is the ability to put emotion into their pieces, but Mike did it absolutely perfectly, you hear emotion from beginning to end. This is something else though, you can listen to it many times and still like it. And the emotion in it is like it's telling a story, but a story that the listener writes for themselves.

That being said. This has to be one of the most beautiful and relaxing musical performances I have ever heard. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I can literally sense the connection this man has with his guitar. I believe if it were any other guitar on the face of this earth he was playing, you wouldn't be witnessing any of this. What u have illustrated to me in a more refined manner than my life's experience so far understands with the sheer range a master of the guitar can perform on a single instrument - there are sounds that differ and originate from differing components of the device - and so each section of it can be performed on its own, and that makes distinctive sounds. Your natural orientation to this can be refined, not unlike a conductor, to put together a team of guitar genius that can play each section in a symphony of guitar magic like u display.

You remind me of the late Michael Hedges, and there is no greater person to which I could compare you. You move in between the bends and arpeggiate in a manner which creates its own space that is pure and wonderful. I would go well out of my way and spend high dollars to see you perform in concert.
I remember seeing Stanley Jordan 30 years ago, and he had a guitar on a stand where he could just walk up to it, and he started playing the bass and the walkup guitar, and I had to shake my head sadly, because I knew that I could never aspire to that level of excellence. Crazy story.. My father 'Gregory Coe' was the patent holder of that cap you are using to make this composition possible. You make amazing music with a device that has an unfortunate background and it brings tears to my eyes. My father created the "G7 Capo" after many years of research and development in our garage. As a child, I remember my father working on creating the device late into many nights. He was also a finger style player like yourself (although arguably not as talented) and his primary goal was to create a capo that was strong enough to bring standard E tuning to F (using the first fret) without the all too familiar buzzing or reduced sustain. He grew frustrated at how challenging it was for normal capos to fully depress the strings near the nut. After years of trial and error and working with patent attorneys his good friend took his idea through a legal loophole and sold it for far less than it was worth. My father ended up dying from a heart attack days after he discovered his friend's disloyalty and our family has always believed that he literally lost his life due to something near and dear to him being taken away so easily by someone he trusted. Whenever I hear music using my father's rightful device I can see him smiling in the garage tinkering with different variations, playing pleasant chord progressions flawlessly in the key of F. He named the Capo "F7" and his friend sold it with a trade name of "G7." Weill you upload a similar progression in the key of F using the capo on the first fret in honor of my father?
