Flight engineer describes job of enlisted aircrew

I am a retired loadmaster. I will say this, be aware of the position you have and never take it for granted. There are so many behind you wanting to be where you are. When you are an enlisted air crew member: you carry your self a little higher, you walk with a little more snap in your step and your dedication to your position is like no other.

What type of mathematics is needed for this? I am thinking about joining the Air Guard. I'm pretty intelligent and recieved a 91 on my ASVAB...but I kind of suck at math and especially mental math. Some people are dyslexic, I just have a hard time with numbers in my head. Is this the type of thing that would see that I fail the training?

With a 91, you more than qualify for the position. How familiar are you with mechanics and electrics? Those are must have skills to make it through this training.
