    on an album as sophisticated and versatile as "The Album" (1977, just 44 years algo)
    "Move on" is one of the most original songs
    The melody surprises from the beginning, with a complex and complete instrumentalization, including sounds of Andean music (like those of my region in South America)
    Björn's prologue stands out,
    that introduces us to an excellent lyric, with a mystical part that includes the meaning of life and invites us to take center stage
    the voices are majestic, one of ABBA's best vocal and choral works
    Agnetha's solo is soft, sweet and beautiful
    and in the next verse She did a second voice of Frida,
    it's from anthology
    and with the choirs at pure power, with those almost mystical "lalala", together with a growing music, they make a spectacular symphony.
    All the songs in "The Album" (1977) have their distinctive stamp, it is an album of excellence (a Masterpiece)
    and "Move On" is a fantastic creation by ABBA and the best demonstration of their openness to exploring new musical genres
    Take your time to enjoy with all these masterpieces, so hard to choose one
    but if You like to do a live version, I suggest two songs in a row:
    "Does your mother know" +
    "Hole in your soul"
    th-cam.com/video/NfZBuCHF38s/w-d-xo.html
    the most power and energy of ABBA on stage at Wembley in 1979 , eight minutes with ABBA 'on fire' to closing the Concert
    I give you all My best regards
    and wish a greatest week
    from Buenos Aires Argentina
    GOD bless You

    It may seem macabre, but I actually thought it would be appropriate to play this song at my funeral.

      Interesting, I've had exactly the same idea for my funeral. This one, probably something more by ABBA and 'Spirit of the Sea' by Blackmore's Night.

      Perfect for a funeral, uplifting somehow. A friend of mine had ABBA's piece "Arrival" performed at her wedding in the Swedish woods a September day 14 years ago, it was very beautiful, moved people to tears.

    This sound takes me right back to 1977/78. The lyrics mean different things with the passing of time but they are definitely relevant today. Abba was not a frothy pop act by any means. Each song is deep and often dark in places. Thanks for your review. It's great to hear young people enjoying the music.

    Most ABBA albums have so many hidden gems on them, and this soaring, triumphant affirmation of the value of life and keeping going no matter what is thrown at you is a great example. Good on you for reacting to this gem.

    Move On shows how ABBA could disguise a deeply profound song by wrapping it up in such a beautiful and uplifting melody. So many of their songs that carried a sad or dark lyric can often mislead the listener by having such happy sounding music. This is one of my top ABBA songs and I loved your heartfelt reaction.

    Thx ! You weren't alone in your car, I was in the back, there were others, even in the trunk! The number of voices to be superimposed, the number of instruments used in this piece. That's a big sound!

    The best La La La's in music history. This is the kind of music that makes me believe in God. It's just pure beauty and goodness. ABBA was his instrument.

    It's lovely how the song means different things to different people. For me, the music conjures the lyrics and sets the scene. You can picture the rolling ocean, the crying of the seagulls, the wind. The arrangement drives the song onwards and could go on forever. It has to fade out. It is really moving on, just like life does while we're still alive, and the message is to appreciate life while you still can. This has always been one of my favourites, like a work of art. I often wonder if they intended to make works of art, but I have a feeling that they were indeed trying.

    I hated Abba when I was a kid. Passionately. My father, my mother, my sister were Abba fans from the beginning. I as a little boy had to endure that. Today, I'm 23 years old, I can't imagine a world without Abba. I think Abba was always underestimated by me and it took me a little longer to realize that Abba is the greatest music band of all time. Sure, there are the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson or Madonna ... but no one comes close to this fantastic music. There's rock, there's pop, there's classical ... and there's Abba. Thank you Abba for the best music there was and is.
    Thank you for your video and your reaction.

    4:55 It seems like you're a fan of the reverberation and harmonies of this track; if that's the case, you would without a doubt love these ABBA songs:
    Eagle;
    The Piper;
    Another Town, Another Train;
    The Way Old Friends Do;
    Dance (While The Music Still Goes On);
    When I Kissed The Teacher;

    Beautiful song, I know people who wants this played or performed at their funeral.
    It's Björn (Ulvaeus) who speaks at the beginning which makes sense since he wrotes most of the lyrics.

    The flute you hear is a piccolo (little fluit). The instrument fitted perfectly with the voices of Agnetha en Frida (singing the high notes in nanana...in particular).

    I think it is a Piccolo not a Flute but that's a type of small flute, so yeah I suppose. It is a very nice song, like a deep sigh after a long day.
    The talking part (which Bjorn says) can also be sung to the tune.

    Its not Björn that talks in the prologue...its not his voice at all, and that person also has an american accent,something Björn doesnt have. That said,this music that ABBA created stands far above over all music done now and also in the past. Even more over the music nowdays as its mostly crap,with some exceptions here and there.
