- Hey all! In this video we take a look at the best Super Nintendo emulator on android: SNES9X EX PLUS. If you're using RetroArch, check out the BSNES core instead. SNES9X works with a bluetooth controller, Super FX games and pretty much everything you throw at it. You don't need a powerful device for SNES games either!

My honest thoughts on SNES9x Ex+:
1) really easy to set up
2) external controller support -- always a bonus
3) Overall reliable, and superb emulator! No complaints!!
4) the name of the emulator is a bit of a mouthful 🤣

Retroarch is not a snes emulator, its a front end nothing more… lol.
Its about as dumb as someone asking you a good tv to purchase, & you telling them target.

I had super retro 16 and Loved it for a long time. But newest update has legit ruined it. They basically added micropayments for continues. Plus it didn't work with bluetooth So now I'm working with this.

The only thing I miss in this emulator is rewind feature. This feature is present in the RetroArch and the snes 9x por PC

Fun fact: SNES9x EX+ will work on inexpensive android streaming devices as well. Plenty of processing power onboard to play snes games. Make sure to get a usb hub for your streaming device, though. I have it running on my walmart ONN UHD 6k streaming device. It will also work on the Tivo Stream 4K as well. You can use a wired gamepad as well. and if your hub has 3 to 4 female usb slots, you can add a keyboard, mouse, or usb drive stick.

Somehow I lost ALL my saves on my android tablet snes9x EX+ I dont know HOW to get my saves back. I have over 6 hours on dragon quest vi. Please help me!! I don't know if I accidentally changed something like the file path etc. I can go into my android file folder/internal storage/game data/sfc-SNES I can get the FRZ file located but it says no app I have can open it.

How to download game for emulator
Downloading the actual roms is a bit of a legal grey area so most content creators won't post exactly where to find them but I might suggest typing coolrom or romspedia into google and see if that helps. It is only legal to download a rom for a game that you already have the original cart for.

I downloaded snes9xex+ but I don't know how to load the games on there. How do I add games?
Find a safe rom site. download the game. In the emulator when you go into open content, it will want you to create a folder in your downloads. Do that. Name it. Then leave the emulator. Go to your downloads. It should be in your files. (My Files) Find the game and move it into your folder. When you go back to open content, your game will be there.

How do i add games to the emulator
For my android device I’ve been told to change the “GPU copy mode” to standard. But I don’t have that option I only see “system memory” and it won’t let me change it.
I can hear the game audio so I know the game loads up, but the screen is black.
