I have a 2024 and that horsepower is enough to get me around. I had a lot of muscle cars a few over 500 hp. I am not ashamed to drive a three cylinder now in fact, I love taunting the guys with the big SUVs back in the day, I had a rambler that used to fool a lot of people.
When the vehicle I'm driving has a sunroof, I do mount it in a place where you can see the instrument cluster and the rest of the dashboard area. Unfortunately, the Envista in this video did not have a sunroof so I didn't have an option other than the windshield.
Yes perfect car for teenagers because not much horsepower. Do not give teenagers 5.0 mustangs, corvettes, with tons of horsepower 😅. This way they won’t drive so fast 💨.

@@dbsti3006 I agree but not at $30k where you can buy much more powerful 4 cylinder AWD vehicles like a Mazda Cx-30 190 hp, a Corolla Cross 169 hp, Subaru Crosstrek 152 or 182 hp at that price point. This Buick should be priced low to mid 20k’s with that tiny engine and FWD only.
It would be nice to have a sunglass holder, rear vents, armrest, and a rear wiper but then the price point wouldn't be there perhaps. Or even AWD, but then there's the Encore GX folks say... but this just looks nicer IMO and than is what makes the proposition suck.
Sport back crossovers don’t need rear wipers because the back window is sloped like a coupe is. The versions from Lamborghini, Mercedes and BMW don’t have rear wipers either and those cost 3 times this at the cheapest.
I actually looked inside this and the Chevy TRAX and must say it looks rather premium ish 😮for the price that said the power train engine and over all reliability does not add up well in my opinion, the avenier version of the Buick I looked at was 33 grand, I asked myself it’s glitzy but will it last, my wife asked if the engine is turbocharged I said yes, she said um no we need a normal reliable engine, she picked out a base Honda HRV it is way bigger on the inside and Honda in our book has a better long term reliability record and the engine is not turbocharged Any suv under 30 grand in these inflation times is a plus
3 cylinder engine - pass No AWD option - pass ONLY black interior- pass GM could’ve made a great vehicle, but their bean counters and higher ups have shite for brains like usual, so hear we are.

The engine has enough power for most driving needs. Don’t be misled by the hp figure. The torque is very good and makes up for the hp.
Have seen that Ocean Blue & it's a great color. Excellent review an pov drive
👍👍👍
Thank you! Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment.
I’m getting this car next year when my lease is up
Needs a panorama roof back seat ac
And rear windshield wiper on the back

when you drive, can install camera to see dashboard and interesting to see acceleration on 2 gear in manual mode transmission

After watching both reviews of the Encore GX < Envista St , I decided that the Encore GX Preferred is the best Buick for me.
Made the same decision but went for the encore gx st
apparently the defroster doesn't work on the new Envista...
Hey Buick, pump that up with an option of 3.0 turbo V6 AWD and you’ve got a winner! 40 Grand and I’m there!
It would be more than 40 grand. What you are asking for is in the 50s now.
3 cylinder???? Really Buick!!!?

Any word on the 2025 nissan pathfinder?? still a v6?
3 cylinder is ridiculously underpowered
not really - i drove home on t he freeway yesterday and was kind of day dreaming and looked down going 90 mph and couldn't feel it at all.

Fill it with people and luggage. 0-60 in 35 seconds
@@seanm1319It's not a freaking tuner car. It's not a sports car. It's not to haul things like a truck. Why can't people get this through their heads?
Add a lot more power please
Look, it's not a f**king race car. It's budget. Spend 57k or more if you want power. Such nimrods here.
132hp, that is a joke..lol😂
I was laughing too until I drove one. I ended up buying the Avenir trim.
Especially for being close to $30k it should at least have the 1.5L 4 cylinder 175 hp engine and AWD to be competitive at that price.
Not everyone drives fast. Not everyone needs lots of HP. It's a budget car for a reason.
