There's this website called 'Sued by Nintendo' which contains almost every Nintendo lawsuit. These may include some other lawsuits and takedowns not mentioned here. Also, it would be interesting to see your opinions on the Nintendo lawsuits and takedowns that haven't been confirmed to be directly responsible by Nintendo, like the Steam Workshop takedown wave.

Around the early 90s, an unlicensed NES game company called "American Game Cartridges" sued Nintendo over Monopoly and modifying their consoles to make unlicensed NES games not work. It was settled and nothing came out of it.

I know a lot of people like to complain that Nintendo is way too strict when it comes to copyrighting their stuff, but, just like everyone else, they don't want their stuff stolen. They can just have all these stricter rules because they are a giant company, but they aren't a stupid one either. In a world like this, people are getting their creations stolen and copied all the time. I've seen my fair share of internet drama over artists arguing about who stole/copied who's art. I honestly just respect Nintendo for their copyright laws. Is it a bit much? Yes. But does that make it the most horrible thing ever in today's day and age? Not really. No.
