The happy background music is killing me.
Talking about something so deadly serious shouldn’t have a happy upbeat tone in the background. It doesn’t set the tone being presented
They used to make sure parasite in Africa 😂lol
It’s like jungle background music from Mario which makes it so much worse😂
yeaaaah me too I got headache while trying to focus, but still an informative video
Very amazing, this is a life saver before my parasitology exam ❤️
The reason why I am here is my tomorrow parasitology exam😂😂
Here for my exam as well 😂
I'm examining next week too ಥ‿ಥ
mine’s tomorrow too😂
Excellent way to disseminate information on this deadly disease in a very user friendly manner
Thank you!
@ no only in Africa or if you went there
@ yes, but only if you go to Africa because that is where the fly lives.
@ it would probably die
@@LetsLearnAboutBugs just found your channel! would love to see a video about monkeypox if you're still creating!
This is the best explanatory video i have ever seen 🥺 thanks a lot
It helped understand my lessons even though i study medicine in French not English.. I'm so thankful
I have a test on this tomorrow. Freshman biology is more interesting than I thought. My professor was telling me about a friend she had in Zimbabwe who would sleep mid-way through a conversation she was engaged in. She would be laughing and speaking enthusiastically, and she'd go to sleep a moment after that. Thanks for the video!
Narcolepsy
Your work has proved to be very useful for me . All my confusion has been cleared about trypanosoma . Thank u so much
I grew up in Nigeria and in third grade saw a little girl with this problem sleep walking out of class when school let out. My dad had arrived to pick me up and this girl was about to walk off the raised sidewalk, about three feet off the ground, when my dad reached out, picked her up, and put her safely on the ground. (I don't remember if she woke up or he woke her up after that.) It's a very strange disease IMO.
From now on.....ur channel has become a part of my following channels......

Thanks for doing this it helps me a lot to understand African Trypanosomiasis in 6:17 while my teacher full lesson :)
Here's how you treat it. Fenugreek seeds, papaya seeds, and culantro leaf. 'A fraction of the essential oil rich in eryngial is the subject of a US patent application for its effectiveness against parasitic trypanosomes, nematodes, fungi and bacteria in humans and other mammals.'
Thank you so much.. Its really helpful
You are way better than my boring professor

the background music💀💀💀
but thanks for the explanation
Nice video sir
what's the intermediate host of Trypanosoma?+ the difinative host?
I honestly think someone put that mess over there in Africa
There is a report available for free online about the impact of the Tsetse Fly on Africa's historical development. I suggest you read it. It is eye opening.
thanks ap euro very cool
I don't know why, but parasites freak me out. Malaria is especially scary. I can't imagine a worm in my brain. I love my brain.
It's caused by a protozoan, not a worm
Great work✌
whats up with the upbeat music?
my mum and her mum are from South Africa sooooo it’s possible I could have it or they could
The background music is disturbing.
Why don't you name the medicines:/
Amazing
Thank you
If you have to remember this for a test, try this visual:
Bruce is trippan o'r some big single battery (power house of the cell). He still must dunno (DNA) what he trippan o'r but it's som'n. Mr. Sandman had hot plastic surgery and is moving fast (kinetic-plastid). Mr. Sandman said "Hey! You Trippan o'r summin Brucei?" Bruce says, "Yeah man, I keep changing my coat (protein) cause my fly is teesny (tsetse)." Mr. Sandman heard this and laughed so hard he bout had a heart problem (cardiac). He said, "This kid needs (kidneys) to relax, he's having a cow (livestock) and his brain ain't working right. I gotta head to Africa and bless the sister rains (African sleeping sickness)
The music is obnoxious, otherwise the illustration was sooo gooood.
Thank u
It's perfect 😍
Thx you! Its help me
do you know how long can it take to Gambiensi to start to show symptoms or even death? because i was in sharm el sheikh in 2012 but in the last 2-3 years i have trouble with energy and i like to sleep during the day. i have ups and downs with this but is it even possible to live with these disease for 5 years?
dave chappelle rip
?
dave chappelle
The disease not present at Egypt coz the vector "tse the fly" present only at equatorial Africa..
There is no trypanosomiasis at sharm el sheikh
If you had it, you would be dead by now (untreated).
@@AmandaLovesOldFords Not necessarily.

how did you do this animation?
SleekGeekRed good question.
There are many websites where you can do this animation very quickly and easily. One example is whiteboardanimation.com
I like it ❀
❤
How do I cite this video?
It is better of you do not cite the video for an academic paper. The maker of the video included a list of sources that you can use to find more in-depth information.
I find this for my biology lesson...#homeworkpandemic
Will it kill you all to just call it Trypanosomiasis?
Your video looks like a najam academy video's 😳.
This sounds like it was made for kids. Jesus, like, what is it with the music?!?
Like, What, You want him to kill us of scariness?
It is made for kids...
استغفر الله العظيم

Lol, I've lived in Africa for 16 years and I don't have it.. it depends on which country or area you visit
I'm confused - are these videos for adults or children? The content is mature, but the video style is juvenile and it comes off as almost condescending.
The channel is called "Let's Learn About Bugs!" and has a goofy cartoon character. But you aren't teaching children the basics if germs. You're telling them about very serious parasites.
The content is geared towards adults and the information in the videos is college-level. The fact that you are including clinical presentation and diagnostic testing means this is for medical professionals.
I think you need to do some reflecting and decide who you want your target audience to be.
Amanda P he just presents his well-researched and composed materials in an easy to swallow way with a lighthearted aesthetic, by no means juvenile. Biology videos don’t have to be lifeless and dreary
