You dont need to change to manual,in auto mode just dont press with CB,if the auto switch goes to CB tap switch and the switch goes to other players thats it,only Press with CB in the necessary situations only like a 1v1 situation,auto mode is fair enough for good defending!!

The best thing you can do is to never win 2 consecutive matches in campaigns and play 6 online matches on a day if you want. Friendlies have no limits thou.

Bro use any manager with aggressive pressing be it all out defense or frontline pressure and most important thing is that your manager’s containment area should be centre, you can use these cbs - koulibaly, varane, beckenbaur, maldini, campbell, de ligt
Tip for defence from my experience - if you are pressuring continuosly and you are stuck with the opponent like opponent have ball and you are trying to get infront but you are in his side pulling hand then just stop pressure and sudden pressure will trigger a tackle or defender will put his leg infront on striker and you can get ball if no foul is done 😁

My defense is Assisted bcoz I man mark manually. If you have Koulibaly use him he has got the most defensive skills than any other. He is the second Puyol. He got Man Marking, and Intercept. So make Koulibaly run towards own d box if you bring out the assisting defender. Like this my win rate increased. 😎
