This truly reminds me of the nightmares I had of this game as a kid like finding new rooms in the castle. This low key freaked me out.
Yo I had a dream that had me playing the game but then the castle was similar to the beta castle in the original mario 64 and the slide was really different.

I remember being obsessed with that black box in the title screen when I was a kid.
You can't imagine the many times I tried to slide and kick on this side of the castle, I really wanted to unlock Waluigi!

I had a dream once where I was messing around with Luigi outside the castle, and I turned on the moon jump cheat as well as one that would allow the power flower's affect on command. I then decided to jump/float towards the mural outside and I somehow passed through it. Inside was a hallway a lot like 1:46, except the walls and floors were the same white bricks used on the castle, and at the end of the hall, there was a squarish pipe (basically a pipe, except all the round entrance was changed to a square). I jumped inside the pipe, and the game instantly went to a level (now that I think about it, it's similar to the levels where you get keys to unlock the other playable characters). However my game instantly froze upon loading the level. The audio was frozen, none of the button commands other than the power button worked, and my screen was frozen on an image where my character was Waluigi, as he was dropping/falling into a level.
Man, that's an interesting dream. Wish I had those lol
Ok no one is going to believe me, but when I was a child I talked to the toad in the Jolly Roger bay room and it gave me a star. I can't do it anymore but I swear that I actually got a star from him.

I didn't see the black box or the door outside of the tower on the roof in-game. But I saw a grey square in that exact place everytime I paused the game and saw the big overview of the castle.

Personally I’ve always believed that the battle area from Mario Kart DS would’ve made an appearance here. The only nit pick I have about this is the Waluigi model. Its size isn’t “correct” in that it doesn’t look taller than Wario’s, and the texture looks too intense, too vibrant, and doesn’t have that look of it being in this game. Basically it’s like my nit pick with the polls you jump on in the red coin mission of JRB in this DS remake.
I remember playing SM64DS as a kid and being irked when the music suddenly cut out. Whether I was inside Peach’s castle or in Bob-Omb Battlefield, no music would play. Only sound effects along with the grunts and screams from characters and NPC’s.
I did not tamper with the settings on accident. I checked to see it and everything was normal. But the experience with that particular save file quickly grew unsettling. Maybe I accidentally stumbled onto something with the Waluigi mystery, or I simply had just encountered a glitch.
The next day, my younger cousin deleted the save file because he wanted to play as Yoshi. He didn’t know how to swap characters - I lost progress with 149 STARS! 😂

@@Skokapus dude it's direct capture from the ds. if you had the tools to direct capture ds footage in 2004 then there's no way you were recording it with a vcr. just admit that having a vhs filter over emulated footage of a ds game is stupid.

I like how despite it being a game that came out around the time DVD was pretty much slowly taking over the videotape format its STILL on VHS. Maybe thats the only way to trigger the AI.

Guys I know you won't believe it but I was able to access the library where there was a moon level with Seven Stars where there was a giant lava pool with blarg the other unused enemy from Mario 64 and a moon colony where I could fight kamek and a cave with a star and a and then and then another secret star that contained a star in the stained glass window with Peach on it

VHS effect ruins this video. Nobody in 2004 and beyond was able to capture DS footage like this so it takes me out of it assuming you were going for some found footage type video which it seems like. Would have been a decent video without it. If you wanted an authentic look you should've just had camcorder on a DS via on R4 card.

Obviously this is fake, because Logicly if WaLuigi was real it would be Wario who rescue Waluigi, and it would have been Wario his the only one that can break the base of tick tock clock, and their is a reason why they did not bother to add WaLuigi if you play all the level in order, and even if you don't and also if you do not do 100% of the game you are already at Finial Bowser floor, so their would be no point to add Waluigi that late in the game.
I kid you not I got the game in the 2010s I don’t remember the year but the character select room is a bottom layer of the castle under the basement and it was lit with fire like the room for Lethal Lava Land and and the floors were black and it was a dungeon like room and there were the doors but three were already unlocked and you had to do some challenges to get the 3 characters
