Wow what a perfect video for me. I decided i want to main a class with a tank off spec in tww so i can tank m+ in between raid nights and here you are. I'm now down to pal or dk because of your video. I think I'll watch those sections again!
Harm Brew reminds me of when brew(and honestly all tanks) focused on being tanky instead of pumping dps meters. I miss the old way brew was where CB was just an active, but mainly when it was just a high apm spec instead of HERE'S 20 DIFFERENT COOLDOWNS
FWIW, Brewmaster was buffed early on in MoP, WoD, and Legion. The only expansion they ever really started out super strong was Dragonflight, and Blizzard made the indefensible decision to nerf all tanks (except Warrior, lolololololol) before the raid opened based purely on M0 balance. They removed damage reduction passives from all tanks (again, except Warrior, lol) and that disproportionately affects Monks. Basically, they nerfed 4 tanks, double-nerfed Monks, and kept Warriors the same. Brilliant!
They removed the Stam and armor passive from brew in legion prepatch, ain't no one i knew was saying brew was strong.(was added back, sometime in first tier legion) Shadowlands no tank but VDH was strong due to the fact everything hitting extremely hard to every tank, so VDHs were forced to jump in snap-aggro and then jump out and kite. (eventually every tank was buffed, mobs were nerfed all over the place.) Brew was suppose to be decent start of Dragonflight before the random 40% stam increase followed by damage of every mob being increased as part of that HP increase(beta dragonflight), Prot paladin and brew had insanely bad self-sustain and the changes brought them to a terrible state.(eventually both were buffed sometime during season 1) i'd say this is the first time i've seen them strong before an expack release personally, maybe it was who you were watching altering your opinion/perception, i've never had the luck of thinking i would start the expack on my main spec because i always had the experience of brew being bad start of expack.
I want to play brew and your video got me hyped. However, it is contrary to what most of the other content makers are saying. I’ve decided to go with you though as a) I find your content fun b) you have considered the dps specs which is important to me, well done! and most importantly c) you are telling me what I want to hear 😂
Brewmaster is my favorite spec in the whole game, but I’ve barely played it in Dragonflight. Was giving myself carpel tunnel just to be meh. Absolutely love the monk changes!
havent goten around to play the beta myself yet but from all ive seen, war within looks really good dragonflight was an amazing expansion and it seems like many of the lessons from DF are carrying over into war within, very excited to see how it turns out
as someone that plays druid as a tank, i love the genuine TANKY tanks. And from what i've heard and seen, blood dk seems to actually be tanky without having to rotate cd's every single group. So are they tanky now, is it the same as it was before and you have to live with the ping pong?
Druid, Pally, Monk are all very fun. DH and DK feel the same. Warrior is ok, but still nothing to write home about. The problem is that DH is still built to be the best tank by a mile, and that sucks for everyone else.
Oh lord I appreciated that.... "Druid of the Claw might be the worst hero spec"...... I literally said out loud "Have you tried Shaman?"...... Thank you for that follow up.
All good :D ill probably go with bdk in s1 since im 3k rio with him in df s2 & 3 coz this changes are juicy and bdks are i think somewhat safe (blizz overpowered reworks shenanigans) than i’ll maybe swap to brm/prot in s2
Druid of the Claw is the spec I’m most hype for; being able to tank as cat?? Cat-weaving?! 😮👌🏼 Not to mention Druid of the Claw was my fave unit in WC3, so to finally play that class fantasy is gonna be dope! Mountain Thane looks cool too, I just wish Fury was more fun.. I wonder if it ends up as “we have Enhancement Shaman at home”, or, given the current state of Shammy, a better Enhancement Shammy.. 😅🙊 PS. Monk Hero specs are so bland compared to everything else.. And a missed opportunity to make a “Drunken Fist” WW/Brew Hero Spec. 😔🤦🏻♂️ PSS. Elune also seems fun too, but I’m biased cuz I love spamming Moonfire, and procs.
Appreciate that Video and someone who noticed that Brew is absolutley bugged. Expel harm doesnt scale right compared to our Hp so we heal ourselfes nothing. Stagger is fucked right now so we running 16% stagger...Celestial Brew doesnt scale aswell..besides that..5 talents arent working at all or are bugged. But with all that...monk feeling the best so far even with the buggs. I dont really think DH ist still Meta because right now..the dungeons doestn have that much casters anymore compared to DF. But we will see how the other dungeons are looking..so far i have the best time on my brew right now even we are def underperforming and cant wait for the fixes...were so gaming then!
It's all about microtransactions. Everyone who plays a DH now because of the meta will buy a boost token to start either a Monk or DK in TWW. Then in about a year or so, DH will get a re-work to be the meta again and all those paid-to-boost tanks will be useless for the meta players.
@@WoWatNight not just tinfoil hat but almost delusional. They just released MoP remix that enables people to very easily and fast have more characters ready for the TWW. They would have locked those characters up into MoP remix then and then they would most likely release the 80 boost earlier than they usually do. They most likely would also have given earthen a superior version of stoneform to cash in on that and then they would be releasing evoker with their racials as they are today (and I bet you that is not happening)
BDK still have dead talents in the tree. Leeching Strikes and bloodFeast. heartrend is soso and it blocks the path to Purgatory. and DK still have the Stand in your DnD gameplay which alot of people dislike. lost 13 keybinds moving from warlords to legion. long time bdk fan here. got almost 1 year online on my toon ^^ (i know im a nerd)
So less buttons and high APM is your fun? I prefer having lots of skills, tactical desigens and a bit lower APM? Why do you vloggers keep promoting your opinion as the truth? To me they are killing the game with all the skill removals..
You’ve really got a collection of Brew mains that watch your videos just to be told they’re pretty. I’m on of them. Lol
That's awesome

Happy we could help!

Keyboard breaking levels!
What is it with Brew and Blood that feels so good before seasons and then no on plays it during season?
Every pre patch : “brew is fun and so strong! “
FWIW, Brewmaster was buffed early on in MoP, WoD, and Legion. Ps like you I’m also a warrior enjoyer so your view is even more relevant for me. Brew it is! Now I need to decide what race to play!!!
There are a lot of doomers in the WoW community. Not us, though!
Brew main here and cant wait!!!! thanks for the update
Gonna be fun
Brewmaster is my favorite spec in the whole game, but I’ve barely played it in Dragonflight. Was giving myself carpel tunnel just to be meh. Absolutely love the monk changes!
Yes, some bloat relief
I really like Bonedust Brew. Im not sad to see buttons gone, and it was really just a dps one at that
But damnit, its my favorite one!
It would at least be nice to keep around as a proc or something. The alleviation of bar bloat is good, but BDB was not bad.
On the one hand, brewm hype. On the other hand, I very much remember DF beta and how they tuned brewmaster right up at release
Oh yea, we remember too
shaman catching strays in a tank vid lol
yeah, sorry Shamans
havent goten around to play the beta myself yet but from all ive seen, war within looks really good
dragonflight was an amazing expansion and it seems like many of the lessons from DF are carrying over into war within, very excited to see how it turns out
Same!
Thanks for the update !
You bet!

They are quite tanky.
What are those green swings on blood dk?
Abomination Limb.
Hey, big fan of your video's here, how does the button bloating feel for brew?
Much better!
''anything that's not a shaman hero spec'' as a R sham main I felt that deep :'(
Yup!
Why was the entire DH section showing havoc gameplay?
because it's more interesting
Druid, Pally, Monk are all very fun. DH and DK feel the same. Warrior is ok, but still nothing to write home about. The problem is that DH is still built to be the best tank by a mile, and that sucks for everyone else.

:)
Really appreciate this excellent and succinct breakdown, thanks!
We're glad you liked it!
Great… now i cant decide between prot warrior, bdk and brm even more :p
Sorry!
All good :D ill probably go with bdk in s1 since im 3k rio with him in df s2 & 3 coz this changes are juicy and bdks are i think somewhat safe (blizz overpowered reworks shenanigans) than i’ll maybe swap to brm/prot in s2
Deathbringer BdK felt so good especially Exterminate. Sanlayn to me felt the same for me
Yup!
Brew main here can’t wait for the new updates
Hell yea
blood dk's are amzing. enjoyed blood when we 3 manned some of the instances no problem xD
Yeah sounds about right
if they nerf monk they need to fire all monks, DH was OP for an entire EXP
Fire all monks?

Drunken Fist does sound fun.
Oh wow pally that low 😮, I don't know man that templar as prot it's a little insane.
Not as insane as other things though

Brewmaster and bugs go together like bacon and eggs.
Is it sad that I die a little on the inside when I hear, "A ton more keybinds" for any sort of spec in this game.
We all do
Which microphone are u using?
Rode NT1 5th Gen.
Fitnesspizza, a name of a Gentleman, I see
That is correct!

ret is the balance. it is how a class should be. dont need complex maths/rotation to fucking play 1 to the highest level.
Definitely very fun. Balanced? Ehhh.
well ret is pretty balance to me i cant say for the rest of the 1000 specs. u dont really need brain to play them. look at WW, arcane mage.
Hey i know this voice! You are doing PoE videos also right ?
That's right!
You are so right, I cant even decide they all look good...not you warrior.
lol
Do a vid on healers. Xx
We did a poll a while ago and most voted strongly against content that doesn't focus on tanks
You will proabbly macro alot of abilitys , like now, abom+ rune+ unded in one macro.
Maybe you will :)
based
Thank you, thank you

long time bdk fan here. got almost 1 year online on my toon ^^ (i know im a nerd)
That is true!
u covered the whole classes, make sure it says so on the title... came only for tanks had to run thru 2/3 of the vid
Good thing TH-cam has video controls built into the player
@@WoWatNightI’m very glad you did! I always consider the alt specs when picking which tank to pick!
13:25 Get good or just quit
Well, just get good at using buttons
Love the video but why do you talk like that?
Uh, what?
So less buttons and high APM is your fun? I prefer having lots of skills, tactical desigens and a bit lower APM? Why do you vloggers keep promoting your opinion as the truth? To me they are killing the game with all the skill removals..
To each their own :)
