I’ve spoken with a few people recently who are super frustrated and really struggling with their concussion. If this is where you’re at, hang in there! Concussions SUCK! But this is not forever, even though healing feels so so sooo slow ❤
Thank you for your informative video. I've been trying to help a friend who had a serious concussion a few years ago. There were many changes in his behaviour. This video helped me as I realise the importance to celebrate the small wins. Ive become more tolerant when he has a bad day or a bad moment. He can become easily frustrated and angry. I try not to take it personally, he's doing the best he can. All the best ☺️
Oh Anna! You are such a good friend! And you're in a really tough spot. I remember constantly asking my medical team if I was crazy, because I felt like a different person with the personality changes. It must be really difficult for friends without a concussion to understand and I think you are WONDERFUL for being there for your friend and offering support and understanding. The small wins are important and not taking it personally is important…but your feelings are really important, too! It’s sad that your friend has changed and it’s okay for you to feel frustrated and disappointed sometimes, too ❤ Good luck and thank you so much for being there for your friend with a concussion. It can feel so lonely and, even when he doesn’t show it, your support is making a big difference in his life ❤ L~
