Hey JB, these tutorials are gold! I was wondering if you have some POV footage where you show different edges (mellow, medium, hard, progressive, etc.)
A lot of trouble getting both height and a full rotation. Lately I do it super quick, more like a bel air without much cut. It works, but it's different and also dangerous: to jump without much tension I scoop front heavy, so much that end of last season I dived my board (think suction but worse): I teared my front binding off my base and my rear leg muscle too😢. 1 month off and a new pair of binding later ($$$😱), I did not dare to do it again and only railey. I will try again soon, but I need to do a proper cut without sliding during the scoop... Probably keeping the arm bent is key, raley arm straight works (no trouble with sliding or not getting air for railey) but not so for the backroll 💪🤔🤔🤔 loosing fat and getting muscle is also a good idea I guess🙄
My problem is, that my spin is more like a flat 360 frisbee. How do I get up. A mate said ( riding to the right side ): While initiation (between blocking the path and going for the pop) press your left leg straight to increase the pop. Does it help? Didn´t tried it. Going for holidays and don´t wanna injure anything --> kiten.
i can do flat backroll to revert, but still struggling for a backmobe to wrap since my moves go bit hectic somewhere in the middle of the trick - and landing goes very zeachy and unstable: overrotation, buttslide, too much pressing on toes being in blind position and consequent diving etc
Finally! Was waiting for this tutorial for ages!
super video I'm your fan, like it. good fan

Finally one of YOUR explainations of this trick! Thanks!!!
I feel like I’ve accidentally done the rotation a few times when messing up an air raley 😅 You’ve given me some hype to try it properly
Now we just have to get out there and do it. Westrock.... here we come!

I just landed my first one this weekend and couldnt find any vids on how to do it. It feels exactly like a kiteboard backroll.

i keep over rotating to switch, what do i do
Do you mean use only front foot to scoop the board up?
I mean follow through with the back one as well, but I basically just draw the Nike check with my front foot and the rear follows
Yes!
I’ll try next time. I got air Railey and switch air railey.
First 🎉
theoretically sounds easy 😂
