496 Big Block Chevy: Final Assembly!

The 496 Big block is back from our local machine shop and its ready for final assembly! We go through some engine specs while installing the rotating assembly and measuring for pushrods.

I was gonna order a rotating assembly from Skip White but their such a PITA to get a hold of I said screw it. Ordered all my parts from summit racing. Scat internal balance forged crank Callies forged H beam rods and Forged Ross racing pistons King coated bearings and good rings. And they answer the phone every time I call.

So you've demonstrated that the Edelbrock heads are not what they claim. I'm ordering the AFR heads. Well worth the money from all accounts.

Yeah it’s a little frustrating when you have to fix brand new heads…

i mean youre spending 2200 vs 3600 on CNC'd AFRs so you do get what you pay for....
